Servpro of Reston Herndon & Baltimore Inner Harbor

We were about one week away from moving when our hot water heater went out and began flooding the basement. As soon as we realized what we had, we called ServPro Reston and they were able to respond within hours and were professional, polite, and efficient. They really went above and beyond the call of duty and I would highly recommend them to anyone, unreservedly. They were great.

The kitchen overflowed while on vacation. The valve that is supposed to keep the water back failed on the dishwasher.  They did a lot of work.

They were prompt and arrived on time. Their clean-up was thorough and I really appreciated their service as I was home alone when this happened.

While the experience itself is one I don't wish to relive, the Serve Pro crew was prompt and very knowledgeable. They did a great job quickly removing the damaged carpet and baseboard. And they also were great about working with our insurance company to submit the receipt. If we ever find ourselves in a similar situation again, I'll definitely call them.

They did the best they could and it helped a lot but I ended up having to replace the carpet. I have heard that they are really good if you have damage from a fire or a flood and they do a really good job but if you have really bad pet odors then you might as well just have your carpets replaced and not waste your money.

I reported water damage from a leak in the condo above mine to my insurance company on June 18, 2010. An adjuster arrived on June 23 and recommended Servpro to do mold remediation. Servpro called within a few hours to schedule someone to take a look. The crew chief, Curtis Simons, arrived alone that afternoon (an hour after he said he'd be there) and tested areas of the bathroom and bedroom for mold, finding damage in more areas than I suspected. He set up a dehumidifier in each room and left. I obtained approval from the insurance company to do the work and he started removing damaged material on June 28. He arrived at 5 p.m. and worked until 8 p.m. to remove drywall, insulation and carpet in the bedroom, and from the wall between the bedroom and bathroom. He also removed the molded bookcase. He was unable to finish removing the drywall, insulation and flooring in the bathroom that day, so I gave a key to my neighbor and the neighbor's contact information to Curtis to finish while I was out of town. When I returned 5 days later, nothing had been done - Curtis kept my neighbor waiting one day for 2 hours and didn't call or show up, then called another day and wanted to come at 10 PM. Curtis left a message on my home phone while I was out of town asking to come pick up the dehumidifier he had left running in my bathroom - making no mention of the additional deconstruction work needing to be done. I called the Servpro office on Monday, July 5, but they were closed. I talked to a manager on call, who assured me he would send a new person to finish the work. However, Curtis called on July 6 asking to come that day to get his equipment and finish the work. Due to my own need to be at my office, I was unable to be home until Friday, July 9. I called a different manager, Monty, on Tuesday when Curtis didn't call back to confirm the time as he said he would. Monty wanted Curtis to finish the job. Curtis and a second person arrived within the one hour window he identified, and finished the rest of the work in about 2 hours. His work was sloppy - he did not make drywall cuts in a straight line at a stud, so additional drywall will need to be removed in both the bedroom and bathroom by a contractor that I pay separately. He cut out linoleum flooring around the toilet - the toilet will need to be removed to install the new flooring. So far, I have received no statements about the cost - they are all going to my insurance company.

John was the over the entire job and he is excellent. The workers were experienced and worked very hard. They were responsive to our phone call and were her within an hour. I cannot say enough good things about them.

They came out and gave me an estimate and stuck to it. My carpet was filthy and he made it look like new again. He got out stains that I never thought he would get out. He is very personable and a very hard worker. He did a wonderful job.

They said they would be there around 9 am but didn't show up until around 1pm. They did a good job getting the stains out of the carpet and furniture. They were polite and respectful of my home. The carpet and furniture dried rather quickly. The only complaint is that they should be more timely.

THEY DO A VERY GOOD JOB AT RESTORING THE FINISH OF THE CARPET, AND THEIR SPOT REMOVAL PROCESS IS VERY GOOD. THEY ALSO TREAT THE CARPET FOR MOLD AND LEAVE IT SMELLING VERY FRESH.

MY OPINIONS IS THAT I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANGIE'S LIST. VERY HAPPY WITH THIS COMPANY. HAD SOME STAIN AND SERVPRO DID GET THE STAINS OUT AND USED A PET SOLUTION.

DID VERY GOOD JOB CLEANING CARPET OF HIS HOME, DID CLEANING ON HIS CAMPER, ALSO HIS FURNITURE. HE HAS USED SERV PRO IN PAST, USED ON ONE OF HIS OTHER PROPERTIES.
