The carpenters were very professional, punctual, and neat
One little note: this customer is very, very alergic to scent (after shaves, musk, colognes). The carpenters did not wear scent so that was an added plus.

The service and responsiveness was excellent from the moment we visited the showroom to the final clean-up of the area where the carpet was installed. The salesroom personnel were friendly, patient, and helpful. The installers were punctual, efficient, and professional. I would certainly recommend Carpet One in Reston.

Those at Carpet One's stores in Reston and Ashburn who helped us chose the materials were professional, patient, and knowledgeable. The installers arrived on time, did an excellent job installing the laminate and baseboard, and worked late to finish the project in one day.
We used a credit card for the deposit and signed to authorize the transaction. When the project was completed, Carpet One authorized payment using a and quot;credit card on file.and quot; I had no problem with their work, but in general expect to authorize credit card payment with a signature at the conclusion of a contract.
That said, this overall was a very satisfactory experience and I would use the company again and recommend them to others.

Came to house to measure room and determine the least amount of carpeting needed. Very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable.

Kevin was very helpful in the store in selecting the appropriate carpet and padding. Three men did an excellent job of installation, removal of the old carpeting, plus stretching of carpet on the first floor to remove "waves". The job was done efficiently and well. Kevin came by during the installation to be certain that everything was done correctly. The timing of the job was performed as promised, and was finished much sooner than expected.

The buying process went smoothly. My wife haggled with Kevin and was able to get a discount off the initial estimate. Kevin stated that the carpet could be installed within a week. A few days later, Kevin called and stated that the manufacturer could not deliver in time to meet the installation deadline. My wife was upset but we decided to not cancel. A few days later, I received another call form the installation coordinator. She stated that the carpet arrived early and it could be install within 2 days. Two days later, 2 installers came as scheduled. They asked me to check the carpet to see if it is what I ordered. Once confirmed asked me to sign on a invoice giving them permission to start installation. After the installers were nearly finished with the tack strips installation. I noticed a small pile of old nails. Upon inspection, I noticed that the nails were old and partly rusted. I asked if they were going to use these nails and they stated that is what was given to them for use. I went to check the tack strips and noticed that some rusted nails were used along with new nails. I stated that I am not satisfied with this and do not approved of it being used. They stated that it is not rust and is "just a powder that comes with the nails". At that moment, I was furious as it appears that they were trying to persuade me otherwise as thinking I am stupid. Immediately, I called Quality Carpet One. I told them the situation and requested Kevin to stop by to verify my claim (My home is 2 miles from the store). They called the Installers' Manager. The Manager contacted me and I explained to him the situation. At first he stated the same thing; "the rust is probably dust that comes with the nails". I stated that I disagree and stated that it is not acceptable and demanded for installation to cease immediately and to send another crew. The Manger spoke to his crew and instructed them to remove all the recently installed tack strips and re-do it. They followed his instruction and did so. Kevin came, saw the situation and apologized. I even offered to drive to Home Depot to buy a box of new nails to use for installation. Luckily, they had other (brass/gold colored) nails to use. Although, it started out badly, I must give the installers some credit as they did take their time to do a good job and did not show any bad attitude while doing so. Upon completion of the installation, I gave the intallers some tip $$$ for doing a good job after such a bad start. I apologize for being so tough on them as I only want to protect my family's health. I requested that they learn from this experience and to not use old rusted nails in their furture installations. Having said that, I would still buy from Quality Carpet One in the future. It's not important that mistakes were made initally. What's important is to acknowledge it, take accountability and resolve it professionally.

The installers showed up, as promised and got right to work. They moved the heavy furniture as required. They were both polite. The only disappointing thing that occured was that we had to wait two weeks for them to deliver the Bathroom carpets, as they needed to be bound, at the warehouse. The salesman promised it to us in a couple of days. I would probably use them again.

Very professional. They brought 2 master carpenters and 2 apprentice carpenters. Very clean, professional and fast. They moved the furniture and even put pads under everything to avoid scratching the new wood. I would recommend Quality Carpet One to all my friends and family.

I had previously gone to Home Depot for service-the estimate was over $5000. As another user had written that they had stopped in and liked the service, I decided to do the same. The saleperson picked out the exact same carpet and sold it to me for much less. As others have mentioned Kevin was great. My padding was updgraded free the day before installation, because they were short on the padding I had ordered. The installers were great! they vacumed, took up the carpet and vacumed again. I can't tell you how pleased I was with the whole experience. I would definely use them again.

From the first contact with Kevin to the installation, everything went well. The vinyl we picked was not available to be installed in the time we needed, Kevin went to his warehouse and noted all the styles that were available in the range we were looking at, he even gave us a couple of choices from a more expensive range that were in stock and said he'd give them to us for what he already quoted. We drove to the store and selected from the 6 he had in stock. We ended up picking a more expensive floor that could be installed in the time we needed. He gave it to us for the same price he quoted on the less expensive floor. It was installed a couple of days later by his installers. The installers were punctual and polite and did a great job. We will definitely use this company again for all our flooring needs.

The process went very well. I loved the carpeted stairs so much that I had three area rugs made for the entry hall and powder room. Their installers did an excellent, no fuss job of installing over cement steps.I can't complain about any part of the process.

It wasn't cheap, but we were absolutely thrilled with Carpet One. I get the feeling they're not the cheapest game in town, but for the price you get really great service. We worked with Kevin Kamali in the Reston office, and we found him to be attentive, knowledgeable, and highly professional the entire time. Throughout the job he was always available by phone (including weekends and off hours) and he stopped by to check on the progress of the job quite frequently. He helped us pick out the right carpet color, hardwood stain, etc. Kevin was also very flexible about the job. When we discovered that the carpet upstairs caused several of the doors to get stuck, he arranged for the hardwood floor guys to remove and cut the doors for a nominal charge. As for the work itself, we were very happy with everything. The carpet team worked hard and the results were great. In the basement I explained that I needed some speaker wire installed under the new carpet, and the foreman on the job took the time to carefully tuck the speaker wire around the walls before installing the carpet. The hardwood looks great. The guy installing the stairs was very particular about his work, and the results show that. Overall a great company to work with. Again, we may have been able to save a little money elsewhere, but the service and attentiveness made it all worthwhile.

Professional, on-time, courteous and great follow-up care. Highly recommend Kevin Kamali and the crew at Quality Carpet One in Reston. I brought them a quote from Home Depot across the parking lot on a whim to match/beat. They matched it and gave me upgraded carpet and materials.

Kevin came to our house 3 times prior to installation at our request to look at the exposed floor we had uncovered by removing the old tile to make sure it was in good enough condition to install hardwood upon . We asked and he answered many questions prior to signing the contract. Once the contract was signed, the wood was promptly delivered and installation promptly scheduled. The installation went well, with the crew (Mehran and Dimas) resolving the few issues which arose: one from needing to shut off the water to the icemaker on fridge and me not realizing I had to turn off the entire house water to accomplish this. They dried the floor where it had gotten damp. The installation took longer than expected, but care was still taken at the end, despite the late time, to address all our concerns. Overall, the new floors look absolutely gorgeous and we feel really good about the money paid for the quality of work.

The folks in the showroom were very competent and steered me toward flooring and carpet that would work for me. They were very patient. Installation of the bamboo floor was done first. The flooring was completely (and well) installed in a single day, however, the installer ran out of trim. This was fixed a few months later (my choice). The Carpet One folks were very patient with me for the carpet installation. I had told them that I needed to get some painting done before installation, and it ended up taking longer than I would have guessed (it was a tricky foyer). Carpet One called me every 3 weeks or so. They were not pushy at all, although I suspect they were happy to complete the job.
