"Thank you for your review! You have been a pleasure to work with from our end as well. We are happy for the opportunity to help you."
The staff is very friendly and helpful.
They are able to accommodate most scheduling needs.
The work tables are padded and clean, and Dr. Perron puts down a sheet of disposable material for each patient and discards it after use to keep sanitary.
The tables are not in a separate room; they are in an open section that connects with the waiting room, but the procedures are not particularly embarrassing and don't require you to remove your clothing, so that's ok.
Dr. Perron is very friendly and willing to give you advice and explain things to you.
However, he does not perform traditional chiropractic manipulations.
Instead, he uses a device known as an "activator", which is basically a spring-loaded thumper that he locks back and then thumps on various parts of your body.
The procedures consist of the doctor telling you to lie face-down on the table and then asking you to perform a series of motions, which he watches, and then he takes the activator and thumps it on a few parts of your body.
Before you're treated the first time you come in, he uses a device that is supposed to show which of your vertebrae are out of alignment. he then uses this information as part of your treatment plan, and checks again after you've had a few treatments.
The price he gave me was very reasonable (less than $50, but this was a few years ago), and he was very acommodating to my fluctuating work schedule.
Unfortunately, after going in weekly for a few months (multiple days, some weeks), I wasn't sure if I felt any different.
Since I didn't seem to have any noticeable improvement after all that, and I had recently found myself in-between jobs, I decided I should probably stop going.
"Thank you (member name removed) for your post. You have an amazing memory for 5 years ago! With chiropractic care, once you have reached a certain level of health then it becomes more about staying there and using a healthy nervous system and skeleton as a launch pad of sorts. An adjustment can help to provide a solid foundation for our bodies structurally and neurologically but then it is up to each of us to eat healthy, exercise regularly, get good sleep and reinforce a positive mindset. That was not speaking to you personally Albert, but since you appeared to be unsure of the benefits of continued care versus having hit an end point I wanted to pass along my broader view of how chiropractic fits into our overall goal of being healthy. Like everything else there is no one piece of the healthcare puzzle but instead many that fit together. I hope you are continuing to be well."
"Thanks (member name removed) for your kinds words, but mostly for sharing your experience with others whom may be suffering from similar problems and did not know that chiropractic could be their answer too. It has been a pleasure working with you."
