Dr. Perron has provided excellent treatment over the years to deal with all of my various concerns. He is one of a very few local chiropractors trained to Advanced Proficiency in the Activator Method. Despite my severe scoliosis, I am now able to lead a much more active life since my back and entire body are aligned appropriate to my condition. In addition to adjusting my spine and various other bones, Dr. Perron has recommended specific stretches, exercises, and even Pilates so I tend to stay in proper alignment. Dr. Perron and his staff are professional, friendly, and courteous at all times. They are always willing to go the extra mile to fit me in if I have an unexpected injury. My children visit him and I have sent several friend to Dr. Perron. I would highly recommend Dr. Perron to anyone interested in quality chiropractic care.

Dr. Perron is remarkable at diagnosing and treating even the slightest misalignments. Very helpful and pleasant staff, extremely flexible with appointments and walk-in option is perfect for my schedule. Staff took the extra time to show me core strengthening exercises. Their personal attention is motivating.

I have been seeing Dr. Perron for many many years.  I like that he uses an activator to give adjustments.  When I first started seeing him, we went to a room where there was privacy.  Now the adjustments are given in the open with 3 tables lined up.  I do miss the previous business model but I understand the realities of dealing with health insurance.  While I feel I get good care, sometimes, I do feel like the time spent is too brief.  But I can get in and out of the office quickly.  So because I currently do not have any major physical discomfort and over the years the care has helped alleviate some issues I had been dealing with, I have to say that overall I am pleased with the care I get with Dr. Perron.

It usually takes about 5 min for Dr. Perron to adjust me and usually I wait less than 10 min. The office is very friendly and efficient. They do see a lot of patients, but do what they can to make sure everybody gets taken care of in a timely manner. From time to time I have waited longer but it really is the exception. The times where I usually have waited is Friday before a Holiday weekend, or if I come at 2:30  PM on a Tuesday or Thursday when they only are open half day etc. I commute more than 20 miles each way to see Dr Perron and have done for years. Only because I am happy with the treatment am I doing that.

Dr. Perron's office is clean and has lots of comfortable chairs and magazines in the waiting room.
The staff is very friendly and helpful.
They are able to accommodate most scheduling needs.
The work tables are padded and clean, and Dr. Perron puts down a sheet of disposable material for each patient and discards it after use to keep sanitary.
The tables are not in a separate room; they are in an open section that connects with the waiting room, but the procedures are not particularly embarrassing and don't require you to remove your clothing, so that's ok.
Dr. Perron is very friendly and willing to give you advice and explain things to you.
However, he does not perform traditional chiropractic manipulations.
Instead, he uses a device known as an "activator", which is basically a spring-loaded thumper that he locks back and then thumps on various parts of your body.
The procedures consist of the doctor telling you to lie face-down on the table and then asking you to perform a series of motions, which he watches, and then he takes the activator and thumps it on a few parts of your body.
Before you're treated the first time you come in, he uses a device that is supposed to show which of your vertebrae are out of alignment.  he then uses this information as part of your treatment plan, and checks again after you've had a few treatments.
The price he gave me was very reasonable (less than $50, but this was a few years ago), and he was very acommodating to my fluctuating work schedule.
Unfortunately, after going in weekly for a few months (multiple days, some weeks), I wasn't sure if I felt any different.
Since I didn't seem to have any noticeable improvement after all that, and I had recently found myself in-between jobs, I decided I should probably stop going.

"Thank you (member name removed) for your post. You have an amazing memory for 5 years ago! With chiropractic care, once you have reached a certain level of health then it becomes more about staying there and using a healthy nervous system and skeleton as a launch pad of sorts. An adjustment can help to provide a solid foundation for our bodies structurally and neurologically but then it is up to each of us to eat healthy, exercise regularly, get good sleep and reinforce a positive mindset. That was not speaking to you personally Albert, but since you appeared to be unsure of the benefits of continued care versus having hit an end point I wanted to pass along my broader view of how chiropractic fits into our overall goal of being healthy. Like everything else there is no one piece of the healthcare puzzle but instead many that fit together. I hope you are continuing to be well."

I was able to get in to see Dr. Perron the very next day following my call.  His staff performed a test on the muscles up and down my spine which showed which muscles were being stressed.  My headaches were occuring on the left side of my head, and the test results clearly showed that the muscles on the right side were extremely stressed -- causing the pulling to the left side.  Dr. Perron explained why his happened and that he felt confident he could bring me relief.  He gave me an adjustment that same day, and I IMMEDIATELY felt relief.  I have now had 5 treatments, and I have been headache free for 10 days.  Dr. Perron said I will need fewer visits, and he is tapering down on my appointments.  I can't remember the last time I felt this great. Not sure what to expect in the future, but I am happy to continue getting 'adjustments' a couple times per month if it keeps me pain free!

to bend and how much energy I have severe scoliosis and parkinson's disease. The  combination of the two have me in terrific back pain. I have gone to pain management to no avail and am currently on pain meds that make me sleepy therefore unable to drive. I've been going to Dr. Perron for a couple of weeks and even though the pain is still there he has made it less striking. I'm able to move easier even with the pain. He has given me exercises to do at home and is quite concerned when I've had a bad day. He can always tell by looking at my back whats happening. I don't have to explain and explain again. He remembers from one meeting to the next what was bothering me and gets right down to business. He always has an encouraging word no matter had poorly yiou feel, when you leave you're definitely in a better frame of mind.

Last Nov 2009 to May, 2010, I was experiencing agonizing back and pelvic pain which kept getting worse. I could barely walk and could not sit. No type of medication worked for me. I was the end of my robe. I went to an Orthopaedic Dr. who recommended Physical Therapy. I did the PT, but found myself getting even worse! My sister went on the Web and found a Massage Therapist for me, who I did go see. She told me after the massage that I had to go see Dr. Perron right away. I called him the next day and he saw me immediately! They did a muscle test, and did first treatment that evening. He told me my pelvis was twisted sidways and backwards, one of the most painful positions to be in! He called me over that first weekend at home to check on me and offered to come in on Sat. to adjust me again if need be. I saw him 3 times a week for 4 weeks, then down to 2 times and now once a month. He uses the activator to adjust you were it is needed. It was a very gradual process for me, but now I am 100%!! I thought I had a crippling disease such as, Muscular Dystrophy or Cystic Fibrosis. But Dr. Perron explained to me that severe stress over time, constant crossing my legs, incorrect exercise routines, etc., had taken its toll. I was very fortunate to find the right Dr. who literally saved my life!! My insurance paid half up to 12 visits. His regualr office visit is only $40, and there is never a long wait. I highly recommend Dr. Perron for whatever pain you may be experiencing!!

He uses the activator method. you lay on a table face down and he pokes at your back. No twisting. Much better than other chiropractors. Less chance of hurting you. My cramps often lessen with in a few minutes of seeing him. I can also get a same day visit. He works fast so you do not wait more than a few minutes.

Perfect. It's a wonderful alternative to the traditional chiropractic method - it is not painful or uncomfortable, there are no strange contortions, and while his adjustments seem minimal, I always feel better after a treatment or after a series of visits if it's for an injury.

I have used him for 9 years. He is compassionate and caring. He is straightforward and has structured his prices to be very affordable. He files any insurance for you as an out of network provider. He keeps a modern practice. He has really been a savior for me, helping me recover after an accident and takes his oath seriously, referring me to any specialists I need.
