May and her staff always listen to my requests regarding color or style and then, go the extra mile! 10000% satisfied and arrangement was so appreciated by the recipient. QUALITY, DISTINCTIVE flowers and greenery.

A friend ordered a floral arrangement from Mayflower that was delivered to my home on Tues. Dec. 11. The arrangement was a lovely combination of hydrangea, gerber daisies, hyacinth, and snapdragons in a short glass cylindrical vase (price unknown). Unfortunately, many of the flowers quickly started to wilt and only two days later, the arrangement looked old and withered. We had received a similar arrangement last year and it held up for more than a week. I called Mayflower on Thurs. Dec. 13 to inform them their arrangement wasn't faring well and they said they would replace it the following day and asked that if I left the house, to leave the arrangement outside so that they could see the problem with the original arrangement. Days passed and the arrangement still hadn't been replaced so I called to remind them and they said they'd been too busy to make a new arrangement and that they would replace it on Mon. Dec. 17. It is now Tuesday Dec. 18 and the arrangement has not been replaced. As requested, the old arrangement has been placed outside the front door whenever we leave the house.

FANTASTIC as always.Since moving to VA, Mayflowers is the ONLY florist we use. I'm an artist and garden designer. As such, I care deeply about the color, look, and 'feel' of floral arrangements. I also care about the florist's ability to speak intelligently to me about choices available and how my request will be executed. I don't want to send 'ordinary' arrangements - I want to send arrangements that are works of a gifted hand. May can discuss individual flowers to be used, color palette, the style of someone's home, where the arrangement will placed - I've even sent May photos of a room and precise dimensions for her to use. If someone is in the hospital, she understands those particular requirements ( often scentless, size etc) May, the owner and head designer, is completely 'hands on' - so *caring and *so talented. Mayflowers has never disappointed us in any way. Even when I call unexpectedly to order the day of a requested delivery - May exceeds our expectations. Our friends who've received May's arrangements are delighted by them - we've even had pictures of the arrangements texted to us! Many thanks to May and all at Mayflowers!

May and her staff are absolutely wonderful. I walked in to her gorgeous store a month before my wedding frustrated by my original florist. Within ten minutes she was able to provide me with the most beautiful arrangements that were well beyond my expectations and less than what I had previously been quoted! May worked with me to stay within my budget and guide me on flowers and arrangements that would give me the greatest value for my dollar. She gave me an honest opinion that I could trust, when others just wanted to give an opinion. May and her staff went out of their way to help me, even though they had a major event the night before my wedding they were so kind to work with me. Her ability to design stunning works of art with flowers as well as visualize and articulate the best design for a space was worth every penny. Everyone commented on how gorgeous the flowers looked.
