Mr. Groves returned my call within a few hours and set up an appt for the next day. Although he was delayed by about an hour, mr. Groves called to advise us of the delay and later, his actual arrival time. He diagnosed the cause of the problem (leak into freezer compartment of our Subzero 511) right away - a clogged water line, which he cleared right away. He offered two options: install a heater unit for $75 (plus service call fee), or wait and see. We opted to go ahead with the installation of the heating rope - he was done in another 10 minutes! Mr. Groves worked efficiently, kept the area clean, and advised me about replacing shelves and drawers easily. We've done business with Mr. Groves before and will continue to use him when we need him. He has kept our Subzero going for 23+ years!

First of all, I dealt with a different company for almost 2 years(same store where the appliances were purchased). I spent 2,000.00 dollars in repairs to be told they cannot fix the subzero drawers.
When I got Mr. Groves' name from the subzero corporation I gave him a call. In a matter of about 1 month and 3 or so visits, he completely fixed both units. He called subzero to problem shoot, made sure they paid any warranties and even got them to wave some part fees. I cannot tell you how pleased I am with the service I had from Mr. Groves. He cares about his work and knows what he is doing. The units are still working beautifully!

Went exceedingly well. Part was still covered under extended warranty but not labor. Mr. Groves had the part available and was able to install it at the initial service trip trip. He was thorough , professional and extremely knowledgeable with years of experience. He is also a Factory Authorized service provider for Sub Zero. Highly recommend.

Feel fortunate to have located Groves several years ago. Temperature in fridge never reached target, so called Groves. Took 3 calls to get a call back, I didn't inquire but seems like 1 man operation and perhaps he was on vacation. No matter.
Service was for Subzero 650 about 14 yrs old.
Arrived when he said he would, quickly diagnosed issue, explained what the problem was and my options (replace evaporator for $500+ or recharge $150 and we might need again in a year or maybe longer). Elected for recharge, and it turns out didn't need much freon, so hopeful it will last a few yrs. He also replaced the ice cube tray arm which had broken a couple of years ago and I rigged up something that sort of worked, but wasn't perfect. He had the correct replacement part on his truck.

For nearly a year I lived with a subzero fridge that produced temperatures above the expected range. But it kept my veggies fresh, my dairy safe and cold enough. Besides, I had hired a different repair person a year prior who had recharged the coolant and indicated it would be fine.
But the day came when the temperatures were not cold enough and I had to act. This time I found Groves on angieslist. He was punctual, polite, and a certified subzero repairman. He replaced the fridge evaporator and the freezer compressor--challenging and time consuming work. Parts were free because he got them under warranty. I appreciated his focus and desire to complete the job right. Work area was left tidy, too. It is now two months later and the temperatures are perfect..

Mr. Groves answered my call on Saturday and came to fix my refrigerator as promised on Monday. He immediately determined the problem and fixed it. I have used Mr. Groves before and would recommend him to anyone with a Sub-Zero refrigerator.
