I've been going to this salon for pedicures and gel manicures for about a year now.  All the technicians are professional and friendly.  The atmosphere is also pleasant and they offer you something to drink each time.  It's the best place I know for mani-pedis.  They also do waxing and facials but I haven't tried them yet.

Amy has done my nails for over 10 years, and I'm so lucky! Her shop is beautiful, clean, and very customer-service oriented. I know she only provides the best quality products and holds her technicians to the very highest standards. Her prices are very competitive for the area. I'd recommend Amy and Forever Shine to anyone wanting beautiful nails and a first-class salon experience.

Love the nails and love the location! My nails did start chipping after two weeks though.

I first tried Forever Shine and Nail Spa this summer and was interested to know that gel fils have improved so much since the 1980s! The process takes about one hour and the gel products are easy on sensitive skin. Amy, the owner, and her technicians are professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and creative. The spa is clean, neat and tidy at all times. The areas, especially the spa room and pedi baths are cleaned after every customer and the utensils are sterilized and in sealed packages. I have returned every two weeks for a gel dil manicure and about every 6 weeks for a pedi. My nails have never looked better and are stronger too. Amy is very creative and can do custom nail designs free form so you can have a very unique look. This is the best nail and facial spa in the area and conveniently located at the Lake Anne Center off Baron Cameron Rd. in Reston, VA. Try it; you will never go back to another salon!

Everything was great. The salon is very clean and the staff are courteous and professional. This was my third time going there; each time I was pleased with the service. I especially like the fact that they provide parafin treatments with each nail service. They also offer you a beverage during your service. I will continue to go there.

I am in my last trimester and wanted the help with my toesies that I can reach and prepare my nails for a maternity shoot the next day. They were extremely nice, still letting me use the massage chairs and getting me water when I needed it. While I had to wait over 20 minutes to get started (they were nice and busy) I was alright with this because it gave me time to pick out a color and they let me sit and place my feet in the nice warm water pool while I waited.
The pedicure was fantastic, and I'm extremely happy with her work on my hands. I wanted shellac so that it would last longer, but because it does, I asked that my french manicure be painted past my natural nail line - so that as it grows (which pregnant lady nails grow even faster) you wouldn't see my natural line. She did this for me, no problem.
I'm also pleased with their prices. For some reason, hair and nails and the like in this area can be more expensive than other places, but this prices were much more reasonable - closer to what I've seen elsewhere. I asked how much it would be to have the shellac removed, and she said $2! I haven't done this yet, but other places charge upwards to $10.
I will definitely be coming back!
