David and crew did a great job getting water out of three levels of my townhome after couple of frozen pipe burst. he worked with me to minimize cost in the event that the claim was not approved by insurance. at the same time documented all the mitigation activities clearly for insurance review. in the end the claim was approved

Both David and Gabriel provided exceptional customer service. We had a leak on our hot water heater pipe and David scheduled us right away as he knew we were very concerned. Gabriel came out and took care of the issue right away and was extremely professional. I can't speak highly enough of the quality of work performed and the level of customer service demonstrated. Our issue has been resolved and I can't thank First Priority enough. My wife and I would highly recommend them!

It's hard to find people who are really knowledgeable and trustworthy regarding cigarette smoke smell, so I cannot recommend David at Priority First enough.

David and his team were great to work with. We had our sump pump fail and entire basement flood. The finished portion soaked up the majority of water into the new carpet. David came out to assess the situation, provided an estimate, and recommendations. We were able to start remediation quickly and got dried out within a few days.

This company was professional from start to finish. They provided same day service, arrived on time, and did the entire job the same day once I accepted the estimate. They only did the work necessary and actually discouraged me from spending more than they felt necessary. They provided a GREAT referral for a company to do follow-up work, and called after the job was done to make sure I was satisfied. I would give this company my highest recommendation!

Dave came out within 2 hours of initial call, assessed what needed to be done, and provided an estimate. We were not going to use insurance for the repair so he worked to get the price down by selecting the most important things that needed to be done to repair the damage correctly and allowing us to do some of the items ourselves (moving furniture and water extraction from the carpet). He sent Gabriel the next day who pulled back the carpet, removed the wet padding, removed baseboards around the utility room, sprayed antimicrobial, and installed fans. He returned 3 days later and installed new padding and reinstalled the baseboards but he was not able to fully reinstall the carpet due to shrinkage. Miguel and a helper returned 3 days later and were able to stretch and reinstall the carpet to almost the original condition.

They were one of the first to respond and they had a competitive price.  They ended up charging a few hundred dollars more than the estimate.  But overall they did a good job.

We had a small fire in the basement of our home and while this did not cause any fire damage, there was a lingering smell of smoke. The estimator came out the day we called (Friday) and was able to set up an appointment to do the work Monday. We had the smoke smell removed by using the ozone machine and air scrubber for 10 hours. The next day we also had the carpets shampooed. Our basement is back to new and smells better than when we moved in thanks to the deodorizing carpet treatment. Another company suggested the ozone treatment and cleaning crew without carpet shampooing for more than double the price that we paid through First Priority. We didn't even get that estimate until Monday, after we had already started work with First Priority. We are completely satisfied that we were able to find First Priority through Angie's list as it saved us money and gave us a better result!

Ok. Did a decent job ripping out drywall and drying floor. Definitely cheaper than SERVPRO. Missed some major areas, and actually caused some additional problems. When plumber fixed mainline they got what hopefully was glue on surrounding walls. First priority had to be called multiple times to deal with this, which looks like little pieces of dirt all over two walls. Since they didn't deal with this initially it hardened, then all they did was wipe it down which did nothing. Employee said that they didn't cause it and weren't responsible. He wiped it as a "courtesy". I get to paint it. When cleaning water off basement floor careless individual knocked out a water pipe to AC. After cleanup water was left dripping, since no one bothered to mention it to me. This caused another $20,000 in property damage. When I called first priority to repair floor, since glue had leached up,through tiles and hardened, leaving nasty stain their employee said there hadn't been water on floor when they arrived (this is why his firm was called). He wouldn't do anything to clean damage he may have helped to cause. Also, when toilet removed it apparently was broken. Weeks later when it was reinstalled this was apparent, though first priority refused to provide a plumber (Bill was over $2,000, which explains why they didn't want to tell me toilet had been broken.

Contractor did well, originally told me that the soonest they could provide service was a week and a half wait. Called and told them that wait was too long and they suddenly were able to fit me in their schedule within 2 days.  My biggest complaint was that job could have been performed by a handyman, they told me that I absolutely needed their services due to mold before project began.  Once they remediated mold they adjusted my estimate to the work that was performed.  It is better to have the estimate be too high then adjust down then to be surprised at the end with a large bill.
Downfall to using First Priority is that they try their best to refer work to TSP Contracting for repairs after water remediation.  TSP Contracting is great based on other Angie List Reviews and estimate for contractor work.

We had a very disappointing experience with the first water mitigation company that our insurance company sent out.  I found First Priority on Angie's List and the insurance company allowed us to contact them.  David was absolutely fantastic.  He was clear, concise, very professional and easy to work with.  And I also cannot say enough about Kesha who answers the phones at First Priority.  She was so very helpful and patient in answering all my many questions on the many occasions that I called.

David came out to our home to assess the flooding situation first.  He explained exactly what would need to be done.  We appreciated that the crew worked to cut out as little drywall as possible in the drying process.  Everything was done very professionally.  The only slight gripe we had was with how the damaged hardwood flooring was removed.  We felt the process could have been a little more "gentle" so that less wood was damaged in the removal process.

I truly could not be more pleased!  I had a leaky toilet and called First Priority.  They sensed the urgency in my voice and came out right away. Needless to say the problem is fixed. Reasonably priced, great service and all around company.

Very poor. I expected a crew to empty out and dry the basement and then decontaminate. The basement was quite full of stored things, some of which were heavy. Manager saw all of this in creating the estimate. The first day, one man and a helper were sent; the second day they did not show up. The third day, only one man was sent and there were very heavy objects to be moved. Presumably a more lucrative job had come in and staff were reassigned. They thought they were finished and the basement hadn't even been emptied. On the fourth day the manager came with the diligent worker; they removed a few more things but the basement still wasn't clean. Now we are left with several areas that are still contaminated after having paid their high price.
Poor management juggling too many jobs at once and not estimating and planning the work accurately.

Went well.   This was a three tiered job.  First Priority responded promptly to my initial call and showed up for the first appointment ahead of time.  Mr. Wesley explained what needed to be done in clear and concise terms and promptly got to work moving furniture, lifting the wet carpet,  tearing out the wet carpet pad, tearing out drywall, detaching base boards and installing two air mover machines.   First Priority returned three days later - again ahead of time - to remove the air mover machines, install a new carpet pad and reset the carpet.   The final stage involved cleaning the carpet.  There appears to have been a misunderstanding as to how much carpet would be cleaned, but that turned out to be ok in the end.  The only issue I would raise concerns the cost and billing practice.  Were I to use First Priority again, I would insist on one invoice and probably seek other estimates before locking in the job.

The work itself went well. Scheduling was a bit confusing, they were to do part of the work and then I had to get another company to in after first priority was done to install insulation and moisture barrier. But First priority decided that they wanted the other company to come in and put down the moisture barrier before they sealed the wood. Makes sense..however had they told me that up front I would have had a company selected and on standby, so it threw the schedule off by 2weeks. Also when I got then final bill, it was about $1000 more than the estimate. They said they had to do additional sanding, which they did not tell me during the job and then told me that the person that gave me the estimate had been fired because of bad estimates. Needless to say I did not pay the additional $1000 as I told them I should not be penalized for their employees error, plus they had visibility of that estimate for a couple of weeks before and during my job, that they could have mentioned it..but didn't. the final job was good and they were very nice and as I explained how they should have handled the estimate and the additional charges, they were apologetic and professional.
