What a pleasant experience from Elmer and his team of professionals. He is one of the best tile mechanics I have ever used and I have remodeled 4 bathrooms in my lifetime. He was prompt and protected my place from the dust and debris that comes from a remodel. I highly recommend his services.

I took advantage of a special that they had. They were professional, courteous, kind and effective. They got it done quick and appropriately. They did a really good job. They had a great price because it was like a special offer off of Angie's List that was about 40% off.

Elmer gave me a detailed quote that listed a breakdown of the charges for the job. I wanted Elmer to remove an old wet bar and he was gracious enough to include it in the scope of work for a reasonable amount. Elmer gave me three layouts to choose and I chose one after some discussion with him about the pros and cons. Elmer and his crew showed up on time. Elmer went above and beyond in his effort to level the floors before laying the tile. The tiles were cut and laid flawlessly. The grout was applied perfectly and I now have beautiful floors. The floors have held up very well and I will definitely use Elmer's services in the future.

I can say so many things about Elmer and his crew and none of them would be negative.  They are exceptional, one of the
best contractors I have ever worked with and I work with a lot of them.
1) He provides a complete and accurate quote that is detailed and spells out everything.
2) He asks questions to make sure he gets it exactly how you want it and if problems occur during the work he
     communicates and calls you and lets you know.
3) Always on TIME, ALWAYS.  If he is running late due to traffic, he CALLS!!!
4) Elmer always take caution when working in your home, they lay down tarp and clean up and pack up after 
     every work day, so there is no signs they have been in your home when you come home, the pick up their 
     tools, the tarps, clean up and sweet--EVERY SINGLE DAY!!!
5) THE THING I THINK THAT STANDS OUT THE MOST ABOUT THEM-- THEY ONLY DO ONE JOB AT A TIME.  THIS IS IMPORTANT
     BECAUSE HE COMPLETES THE JOB ON THE SCHEDULE THAT HE GIVES YOU.
Please don't make him so busy that he doesn't have time to get to me anymore because again he is extremely professional, great work ethic, exceptional end results and I hire them EVERYTIME I have tile work to do.

Our lowest level has been a rental apartment for years.  However, it had moisture problems including water coming up through the floor and around the foundation.  I managed the work and had the apartment gutted - taking out all of the old moldy carpet, wallboard and framing. I hired a waterproofing company to install a french drain with battery back up sump pump. This solved the water infiltration.Demolition included taking out the kitchen and bath all the way down to the concrete.
I contacted about six companies and I found EJM Tile Mechanics ad on Craigslist.  I sent an email and they responded right away and agreed to come that night to assess the work to be done.  The next morning, EJM had sent me a detailed computer assisted design drawing, material lists and detailed cost estimate.  They also proposed several options. They are originally from Bolivia but they always kept at least on person on the job who spoke satisfactory English.  Communication was always prompt and clear and no problems occurred in our communication. They were available on week later to begin work and they agreed to stay on the job every day once they began.  All of the workers were very positive, pleasant and polite.
They went to the store with to help me pick out the best ceramic tile for the job while keeping cost in mind.  They are very experienced and that contributed to a significant savings by choosing a certain type of tile that had all the good features we wanted at a much reduced price.  They helped me make a material list that I was able to use to select all of the materials needed. They also designed the shower and both floor and wall tile for the entire bathroom.Their design included a number of upgraded features for the shower and they gave me a contact where I was able to get an all glass shower wall and door, making the shower a real showpiece.
The worked every day with Elmer, the principal working on the shower and bath while others worked on the floor. Each day they cleaned up before they left the job for the day.
They had estimated it would take seven working days to complete the tile work but they actually completed it in six.
I chose to seal the grout myself which EJM encouraged as it was easy and saved us money.

They were pretty good. The work was awesome and clean. They kept everything on schedule and there were no surprises. It all worked out nicely and they did everything they promised.
