I initially came in touch with Driveway Impressions through a Home & Garden show in 2009; they came out and gave me an estimate. Although the price was reasonable, I had other financial priorities at the time. Contacted them again in 2012 but again my finances were an issue even though they were willing to do the job at the 2009 price. I was finally able to commence the project in 2014. The 2014 price was only several hundred dollars more than their 2009 estimate. There was a 33% deposit required at the time the contract was signed; they gave me a date the work would start and they arrived promptly on the proposed date.
Prior to my signing the contract, I requested references and visited and spoke with three people who had used them. Each one was totally satisfied with the work that was done and all three driveways were still lovely even though they had been done several years earlier.
This was a a two-step process in that the asphalt needed to dry before the stamped process could take place. They gave me the approximate date they would return and everything went according to schedule. The staff were totally professiona and one could tell that they knew what they were doing. Todd (Albin) was extremely patient in talking me through some changes I wanted to make explaining that athough it could be done, it would be costly. i went into panic mode several times and each time he listenend and made suggestions without being overbearing or condescending. The end result is that I have a driveway that is absolutely beautiful.
When the job was done, I sent him an email telling him how delighted I was and asking that he include my property on his list of references. Talk about "curb appeal" , when the time comes to sell my home (which is no time soon), this driveway will definitely bring customers into the house.

This is a large (2900 sq feet) drive, and I had the front half, the part visible from the street, stamped and colorized to look like brick. There was a problem in that they found a mud pit under the lowest part of the old drive and had to dig out 4 truckloads of mud and bring in stone. This cost additional money, which I was not prepared for, but the company and I worked out a professional and workable agreement that allowed the job to complete. The biggest issue is that the new drive is beautiful and really higher quality that I see in the other neighborhood driveways. For example, my old drive tapered to very thin asphalt at the edges and this caused cracking. A truck drove across the drive, slipped onto the lawn, and a three foot section of the old drive just broke off. The new drive has full depth all the way to the edges, with a chanfered (45 degree angle) edge, that is stronger, and when re-landscaped, will stay good for decades. The final product is the envy of my neighbors and I am very happy with it.

1. We were told that there would be someone on the crew that would help with the design. 2. We were given a picture that showed the imprint of the house number within a decorative oval, and told that that is how the final product would look. 3. We were told that the height would not exceed 2-3 inches. 4. Most importantly, the verbal and written materials lead you to believe that there is little to no maintenance. Ref #1: They wanted to move up the installation date, which we agreed to, but it left us with little design planning time and there wasn't anyone available to make suggestions about the design. ref #2 They did not use the decorative oval for the house number - just the four digits at the street edge. Ref #3: The height was more like 5 inches and although they agreed to add some fill dirt (at our cost), we still had to add two pick up truck loads to bring it to a level that the riding mower would clear. Ref #4: This spring we noticed that the sidewalk edges were bubbling. We were told that you cannot allow grasses to grow close to the edges. So we are left with an unsightly 6"" strip of dirt beside the sidewalk. To their credit, they did tamp the sidewalk edge down. We don't know if the repair will hold, but they will not do anything more to correct the problem. Also, during the initial installation, they did fix an edge of the driveway that, due to a misunderstanding with the installation crew, was not finished as we had expected. They recently touched up two small spots for free - one was an indentation due to a heavy object and they painted over a tire track. Final word - Yes, it looks very nice, but knowing what we know now, (and how expensive it was) we would have done things differently.

The overall process was exceptional. From the time the first crews arrived there was a constant concern in making sure that my property was well taken care of. While the process was a meassy one, the foreman made sure that they left the job site as good, and actually, better than it was vefore the crew got her. I liked that treatment for sure! The people were very friendly and were dressed neatly in uniforms. Many neighbors commented on how well run the crews were. Most folks have had a bad experience or 2 to tell, but I tell you, this contractor operates well outside some of the typical stero-types we all have heard about. You will have trust of Todd Angelo Albin (he's Italian of course), the owner and his crews. To me, I knew my project was in good hands.

Driveway Impressions was very professional, responsive, helpful and a joy to work with from start to finish. The salesperson took the time to answer my many questions to help me understand the process and provide advice on patterns and colors that would best complement my house and the size of the driveway. Most of all, he was fair, honest and trustworthy in quoting; no bloating of price or need for bargaining. The best thing is that I got a beautiful driveway at a much lower cost than brick or cement and it's totally maintenance free. I highly recommend Driveway Impressions to anyone who wants a top quality and appealing driveway without the hassles of maintenance. I loved the driveway so much and got so many compliments, I had my walkway done to match.

This project was accomplished as contracted and scheduled without a hitch and the finished product looks fantastic. Driveway impressions subcontracted the asphalt repair and initial asphalt application to Manassas Asphalt (these folks were prompt, careful and good) and then heat stamped and coated the surface with their own expert crew.
