Debban was our realtor while purchasing a house in the Northern Virginia area. We were located overseas, which made her job difficult considering the time change and communication. But she did an outstanding job. She generally went immediately or the next day to look out houses for us. She would also use her iPad to video houses for us since we couldn't see them in person. She met friends to tour the houses with her. She used her knowledge of the area to provide valuable feedback. She also used her professional resources to give us general advice on mortgages, schools, etc.When we finally selected a house she picked me up from the airport and took me to the house and then dropped me off where I was staying. She set up a tour of the local school and even came along. She set up a lot of the other services, like the inspection, radon testing, and termite inspection.I can't recommend Debban enough.Buying a house while overseas is an extremely challenging and stressful time. But having a great realtor who understood our situation and unique needs made it a lot easier.If she was that good for an challenging, hand-holding intensive international purchase, imagine how good she would be for a much simpler local purchase.
