However I did not have a shipping address in Maryland....The girl that took the order told me that Cymax would ship to the nearest UPS or FEDEX Center and does this whenever a person does not have a shipping address. I then called UPS in Easton MD to confirm they would accept a package from Cymax stores send to me via UPS. They said as long as my name was on it and that I already notified them was fine. I then ordered the items from Cymax Stores.
I waited over 3 weeks and kept checking....Then to my dismay I saw that my tracking read as follows:
Items were delivered by FEDEX to the UPS center in Easton Md. There was no recipient name on the package nor did it say Cymax on it, therefore the package...it came directly from the California vender.
Therefore no one knew anything about it and could not be signed for in Easton, Md. So it got re-routed to the nearest FEDEX location in Seaford Delaware. Seaford Delaware refused it and resent it back to shipper in California. In the meantime I kept calling Cymax stores to no avail....no one answered the phones, they kept me on constant hold and no one called me back when I left several messages looking for answers.
I sent Cymax an email requesting them to resend me the package with my name on it this time. They never responded back, however a week later I got an email telling me that they were crediting my credit card back $16.00...instead of my purchase price of $53.00.....the rest they were charging me for shipping.
I called, finally after about 20 times trying to reach them some woman answered the phone. I tried to explain to her what happened, however she did not really want to know, only kept telling me that my account was credited back $16.00 less shipping charges. Finally I could not deal with her anymore and I hung up at her. My credit card company put the bill into dispute and credited me back for the entire purchase.
In closing..... I have never heard from Cymax stores with regard to this issue.
To anyone that reads this post, please BEWARE OF BUYING ANYTHING FROM CYMAX STORES website.....
