This review is for College Hunks of DC.  I am a repeat customer of College Hunks Hauling Junk and I have never been disappointed. They always arrive on time.  They are always pleasant and very professional.  They are always willing to go the extra mile.  I would also like to cast my vote for Darien and Edward to be the Hunks of the semester.  They worked fast, efficiently and even made some good suggestions to get things done better. Darien and Edward hauled away 5 large items for donation.  They moved 5 other items from my base to a shed that was in the backyard at least 500 yards away, up a hill.  They also hauled away some trash items and they did it all willingly with a smile.

No damages to the walls or other furniture.  Joe B and Jonathan were very polite and professional.

Nick came out and gave me a free estimate for the work that I needed done.  Later, he and Ryan came back to haul it all away. Both young men were extremely professional, polite, and finished the job promptly.  Highly recommend doing business with them.

They were so nice! They were able to remove a file cabinet without damaging walls, and I was very pleased. The main thing I was so happy with was that they did very careful work, all on their own.

Patrick and Miles were the hunks and did a great job. They were very professional, considerate, and efficient with their work. The guys reviewed everything to be hauled, gave me a ballpark estimate on cost, and took care of everything. This is really a great service if you have a lot of big things that need be donated or hauled away. You don't have to move or consolidate anything yourself. They will move it wherever it is. Though it isn't cheap, College Hunks is a good company and I recommend them.

They were punctual, and I received a phone call narrowing down the 2 hour service window. They explained the estimate process clearly prior to any work being completed. Due to the weather, they were quite courteous regarding shoe removal in my home to collect the items to be hauled away. I appreciate the fact that instead of going directly to the landfill, these items will be donated.

Mike and Brian were my hunks and both college students inMD. They were great from the moment they called to let me know they were on the way until they drove away. I think they must be engineering students as they were able to get the sofa around tricky corners and out the door in a matter of minutes without removing the legs AND with no damage to any walls. Not even my movers could do that although they tried for about 20 minutes. I would highly recommend College Hunks Hauling Junk and if I were to use the service again I'd request to have Mike and Brian.

As noted above, they were on time and did an excellent, professional job.

They took some of it to,Goodwill. The rest went to te dump.

The three men who did the work were professional and friendly. They came, they loaded junk and they hauled it away. On time and very nice.

The whole process of getting some junk hauled,from initial contact to job completion, was handled professionally ,quickly,and accurately,The representatives called to say they were on their way,and arrived when they said they would.They proceeded to review the steps they would be following. Their pricing formula was clearly spelled out and adhered to.They finished the job quickly and they asked if I were satisfied with the outcome.They wanted to please and they did.

Sean and Rick could not have been more professional in handling our hauling needs. I have no don'ts the service was outstanding.

Sean and Chris called a half hour before their two-hour window to let me know they had just arrived in DC and to inquire as to whether i was ready. I was and they indicated they would be at the house in about 15 minutes. They arrived promptly, introduced themselves, and were totally professional in every way in performing their services. They carefully removed the furniture from the third floor without damaging any walls or other items in the house, and were friendly and really quite charming. This is the second time I've used this company and I've been totally satisfied.

I called 5-24 -11 to have junk hauled from my condo in DC. Ryan and Gil arrived on time and were very professional and friendly. They completed the work efficiently.

I was told that the company does all sorts of work, not just junk hauling. I had bought a bunch of IKEA furniture, and, as anyone who has assembled IKEA furniture before can relate, I was not looking forward to putting it together myself. I was so happy with College Hunks that I called and asked if they could perform the task of assembling my furniture. They said yes. I made an appointment for Thursday, 5-25-11. When no one showed, I called. The agent apologized profusely and said he'd find out why the guys hadn't shown up. He put me on hold, and when he came back, he said he couldn't get ahold of anyone to find out why the guys hadn't shown up. After numerous phone calls, a manager spoke with me and told me that I hadn't made it on the schedule because of a computer glitch. He was very apologetic and offered to either call in a crew from home (all the guys were done for the day), or we could reschedule for the next day. It was late, so I rescheduled. The manager gave me a $50 discount on the price.

Ryan and John arrived the next day as promised to put together the furniture. I can't remember if they were on time or not. Ryan worked really hard. John was less industrious. Ryan is an extremely nice guy, very professional. John was nice enough. It took the guys a long time to put three pieces and most of a fourth together. It was late, and I told Ryan that if they wanted to knock off and come back tomorrow to finish up, that was okay with me. They took me up on that offer. Ryan told me we would be the second stop of the day.

The next day, I received a phone call from Gil, the guy working with Ryan that day. He told me that they had just finished the first job and was on their way to the second. They wouldn't be at my place for several hours. I told Gil that I thought I was the second stop. He said no. I told him that wouldn't work at all for me. He said he'd have Ryan call. When I spoke with Ryan, he said that a job was added on without his input. I told him I thought that they should finish their obligation with me and then move on to the add on job. He agreed and was able to make that happen.

The guys arrived late, but they came at a reasonable hour and finished the job. Again, Ryan is a superstar. Gil was plenty nice and friendly, too.

Overall, I think CHHJ is a fine company, but they don't schedule appropriately and they overpromise. I would use the service again, but in a more limited capacity (junk hauling only).

The crew was a little bit late and did not accurately estimate the length of time it would take to get from place to place. They had to make two trips to Goodwill on South Dakota Ave from far northwest DC and it took much longer than they anticipated. The two workers were very polite and professional and worked extremely hard. They did everything we asked them to do with skill and courtesy. I would hire them again in a similar situation.

The hot tub had not been working and had originally been brought into the yard by crane, over the fence. College Hunks Hauling Junk gave us a free estimate, stating it would take about an hour to do. They were willing to take it that day, but we had yet to drain it or disconnect the electric so we scheduled for another date. When they came out the job was more complicated than originally thought to be due to the fact our lid had filled with water, which meant we had to cut it open to able to lift it off the tub, resulting in the tub needing to be drained again. We only had a narrow aisle through the garage to get the tub out so they painstakingly cut the tub apart and hauled it out. The fresh professionals that arrived worked extremely hard, with good attitudes, and were able to complete the job, but left covered in much of the mess that was created during the destruction of the tub. They never complained about the unplanned problems, and left our property in fabulous condition. I would recommend them to anyone.

Very nice guys. Certainly helpful and trustworthy. They came. They hauled. They left.

Very pleased and would use them again.
