Wood Stairs and Railings Repair
Trevor Higginbotham, with British Remodeling, did an outstanding job for us. We needed to have a wooden stair railing repaired, and he went above and beyond to ensure the work was done properly. We have since booked him for a series of large and small handyman jobs, from painting to bathtub repair to electrical work, and he has consistently delivered excellent results. Highly recommended!

Trevor handled a number of exterior repairs and improvements at my Reston home. He took care to consider with me how to make the projects work for my budget, and to make the timing work in context of the weather and his other commitments. His daily and end-of-project cleanup was a bit better than that of others. Throughout, he remained pleasant despite the broiling weather.

Trevor and Christian are a joy to work with. I hired them to assemble a baby crib that was non-trivial. They worked very efficiently and professionally, and at a fair price. Communication between me and Trevor in scheduling was excellent throughout. Their skills go well beyond what I hired them for initially, and I will certainly make use of them again. This is the second time iâve used British Remodeling and like the first time they exceeded expectations. They were doing a number of small jobs around the house that included drywall patches, bathroom hardware, installation of a Nest Thermostat, and other miscellaneous odds and ends. Highly recommend.

Already wrote and posted a review. They came the evening of the day I contacted them, immediately found and showed me the problem, purchased s new mechanism, and replaced it that evening. Very responsive, did good work, and charged a reasonable amount.

Exterior Trim Repair
I had Trevor replace rotted trim around a French door I had going out to a deck. He did a excellent job. He replaced the trim with a type of plastic that looks beautiful and will not rot. After caulking and painting it looks like new

Hardware, Latches & Tracks (Door) Repair or Replacement
Trevor was very prompt and actually got to my home before I did and was waiting for me when I arrived 15 minutes early. I like that! He was informative, neat, tidy, polite and did excellent work. I had him replace a broken lock and all new hardware for my front door. I would highly recommend him! He was also less expensive than a locksmith. I am going to look for more jobs around my house for Trevor. Again, I give British Remodeling, LLC my HIGHEST FIVE STAR REVIEW.

Trevor and assistants did a fantastic job renovating my bathroom; patching bedroom walls, and painting walls and ceilings in various places throughout my house. Trevor and his partner were polite and competent in doing the repairs that I needed to have done. Trevor stuck to my request to repair things in the simplest yet successful way and he did. Which I was very grateful. I would recommend this company to be hired but would suggest that you take the time to discuss/negotiate what he will charge you for the job. Because he was able to come in 48 hours from the day I called and I because I needed repairs done quickly, I didn't negotiate his price. As a result, the two hour visit came to $150/hour and I think that is a bit high even for Northern VA. I would hire him again.
