The gentleman was very patient and offered many choices for framing, also offering cost saving alternatives.
Once the choices were made, he was very clear on the costs and efficient completing the transaction.
The shop hires a conservationist to do work on site. I was unaware of this until I received a phone call recommending conservation work on 2 pieces. Leslie clearly explained what the conservationist recommended, why it needed to be done, the ramifications if the work was not done and the costs. In fact, Leslie promptly emailed me a quote with the work and cost clearly listed.
One piece needed the backing removed. The conservationist did an excellent job and the price seemed reasonable.
Once the backing was removed from the art piece this obviously changed the framing job. I was frustrated to find out the shop moved forward by choosing a matting similar to the removed backing and completed the framing of the piece. With the backing removed, the matting and framing needed to be reconsidered.
The shop's policy is 100% satisfaction guaranteed. Leslie met with me and helped me choose a new matting. I did not consider changing the frame since it had already been cut and made.
I would definitely return to this shop since the customer service and satisfaction is priority.

First visit, with photo in hand got lots of help and education re what would work best. Selected matting and frame. Next day realized I may have chosen a frame not best suited for this very old (in sepia tones) photo. Returned told Leslie what I thought would be better style frame. She found the perfect one. On scale of 1-100 I'd give this service a 200!

The final result was stunning.  I wanted a unique gift as a Christmas present for my wife.  She is an artist and had been featured in a magazine.  The article contained an interview and some wonderful reproductions of her art. So I wanted a special, framed presentation of the article as a gift.  I really had no idea how to do this.  I tried several local framing shops but just did not feel that I was getting anywhere.  Then I read some very good reviews on Art Frame Solutions.  It was a bit of a drive but I needed to get this done.  I walked into the store and met Arnold from Art Frame Solutions.  He was wonderful to work with and, just as importantly, was patient and a very good listener as I tried to describe my basic requirements.  He took it from there and came up with a masterpiece.  Leslie, the owner, was also just delightful to meet and work with.
And, most important of all......my wife just loves the piece.  After starting with a high level concept, the final result is a total winner.

It went well.  I got help picking out the frame and different types of mats.  No hard sell, no pushing opinions on me.  When it was finished it looked better than I expected/had imagined.  There was a 30 guarantee so if I got it home and it didn't look right, I could return it.

Fabulous service!  Great advice on how to frame the needlepoint; provided several price options, and provided enough information for me to make the decision.

I am to blame for going forward with this framing effort, once given the cost estimate.  I accept the fact that the market supports the exorbitant cost for customized framing.  Taking my short coming and the market allowance into consideration, I  think a wiser and less anxious (to have the work completed professionally) decision would be to not pay more for  framing than the cost of art piece. Actually, there is a generally accepted rule of thumb for determining a fair cost. In the end, the framing was professionally completed and the work was done in a timely manner.  However, the outcome was no better than other framing I have had for a relatively less costly sum. This particular painting was so dear to me as it was customized to my specifications.  I must add, however, the process was somewhat different from  previous framing experiences as this particular art piece needed to have the canvas stretched over the frame, without the use of a mat. I did not want to take a chance with some source that might not claim to be so  professionally qualified. I will be checking around before choosing a source to frame future paintings.

They do very good, professional work. They are friendly. The price was good.  The frames were done on time.

The pictures had been framed at an art show. Leslie took her time, made suggestions, spent lots of time with me over picking out just the right frame. The pictures were ready in about the week. There was an issue with one of the frames when I got it home...there were some imperfections. I brought the picture back and they redid it, no questions asked.

The original framing price too high so the framer suggested a pre-made frame with acid free mat & special glass price was high but more reasonable.

It was very good.  They were a little expensive, but they do a good job.
