The project went well. I had been referred to John by another craftsman that I trust. He was working a job in Potomac when I called him. It took about a week before he could come but it was worth it. The other estimate for repair was about the same price but the handyman would have re-secured only the base of the railing to the floor. John's opinion was that approach would not have provided the improvement I was seeking.
