Jesse James Critter Gitters

I had an issues with birds getting in my 1st story air vent. Brian from Jesse James Critter Gitters came out and was detailed and professional every step of the way. He inspected, installed the cover, and cleaned up the vent in question. I couldn't be happier with the final result. I look forward to referring them to friends around Northern Virginia.

We had an issue where snakes got into the house and laid eggs, where we then had baby snakes pop up in the basement. After searching around the house, closing cracks and holes inside and outside, we still kept getting them every late summer/early fall. Finally we called Jesse James Critter Gitters. They came out and inspected all around the house as well as inside. They found various cracks, sealed all possible entry points, put Traps inside and out, came twice a week for two weeks to check traps. We have had no more snacks inside! THANJ YOU & AWESOME JOB JJCG

We used them a couple years ago when we discovered squirrels in our attic. They knew what they were doing and did a great job removing them. Also took their time to repair where they were getting in. It’s been a couple years and no squirrels have returned. Solid guys, very trust worthy.

Excellent. Met with Jessie James' Lead Technician, Will. Highly personable and professional interaction. Discussed with Will, issues concerning a woodpecker that began boring holes into my home's wall beginning about two weeks ago. Will discussed mitigation options as well as some of the difficulties in dealing with woodpecker behavior. Will installed three "flashers" onto my home's eaves. He additionally repaired the holes left by the woodpecker. The flashers also came with a 90-warranty. An educational experience to say the least.

This company is very professional and knowledgeable. We were thrilled with their expertise and would definitely recommend to others. James and his cousin, Will, arrived on time and explained everything that was going on with the bats in detail. Explaining what needed to be done to remove the bats and the protection needed to prevent them from coming back. A+

Excellent, between two employees they were able to move storage racks and boxes to ID its location and to "****** it up." When I called, Jesse said he could have Will there in 30 minutes and 30 minutes it was. Will and his trainee (sorry I forgot trainee's name), regardless, both were friendly, understanding, professional, skilled and nicely dressed in uniforms.

James arrived right on time, inspected our attic and let us know that we had an issue with mice, not squirrels as we feared. He explained that our pest control company would take care of mice and did not charge me for his services! I would have gladly paid a service fee for his time but he insisted that it was no problem. I have mentioned this company to a few friends and will definitely hire James if the need arises in the future.

Learned alot and was very thorough in is work and very polite. Would def call the critter gitters again and would recommend to everyone. Thank you again JayJay.

Very well....they were recommended by neighbor, and although they may have been a bit pricey, partly because of scope of work we agreed to, we would use again.....and have recommended them to others because of their overall high quality service, and have only heard positives from those that we forwarded recommendation......Rick and Marcia, Falls Church

A great experience from start to finish. Traps were set for several days in a row until no more squirrels were being caught and the attic was empty. Repairs and reinforcement of all places the squirrels had chewed through were done concurrently in areas where the squirrels had already been removed. Final step is a hospital grade disinfectant in the attic. Cost was slightly higher than another company I called but I think it was worth it. I would recommend this company and would definitely use them again.

Wonderful! I’ve had a Copperhead in my front yard for at least 3 days. With two little children it was making me a nervous wreck. I called many different pest removal companies and most were unresponsive or booked. Jesse James Critter Gitters is very responsive and the young man who caught our snake got it within minutes of arriving! I was happy to have him come earlier than appointment time too (which I was told was a possibility). Very punctual. I was hesitant to use them at first because the price is a little high - but let me tell you...it was worth it. You get what you pay for and this company gets the job done and fast. I highly recommend them - especially after my horrible experience trying to get in touch with countless other companies for three days straight. I now can go on with my life without hyperventilating over the poisonous snake! In the future I will use them should I come across wildlife in my yard that does not belong!

Awesome! Jesse can be hard to reach initially, but once we spoke he was absolutely perfect. He was on time for the inspection and quote, identified the issue, explained the resolution, suggested preventative measures, and sent us the pictures of everything he indicated when he sent the written quote. When we accepted, he started immediately, kept us informed at every step, sent pictures of the completed work, followed up several weeks later to make sure we were still squirrel-free, and honored the guarantee when high winds removed one of the covers he placed (we didn't expect that, we just thought could replace it and charge a fee.) I recommend Jesse frequently.

After finding snake (garden variety), called then and they id the snake as non poisonous. They came out to check the house to see if there were snakes living in basement as well in crawl spaces and said no. They also helped us get rid of some other critters that were becoming a nuisance by digging holes all over the yard.

They were very professional, keeping us informed and checking the traps regularly as it was quite hot at the time. They were always prompt, courteous and did a great job. We had extra insulation installed by them after the cleanup was done and the trampled insulation was replaced. They also put on gutter guards that are resistant to wildlife chewing which was extra as well. We were very happy with their work and would definitely call on them again if needed!

Jesse was very responsive from the initial call, and throughout the time he was checking on the traps. He came within a day or two when we first called him. He explained the process and what we needed to do. Jesse checked in several times to make sure that things were going ok. On the third day, the squirrels had come out of the hole and were trapped in the cage. We notified Jesse and he came out later that day and removed the squirrels. He kept the trap in place a few days longer, then returned to remove traps and seal the hole and also replace the siding that had come loose. Jesse's service was excellent and we would gladly have him back if we have another pest problem.

I'm am Extremely grateful to Jesse, from Jesse James Critter Gitters(JJCG), for his help with what I thought was an anmial running rabid in my attic. I came home on a Saturday evening to loud rumbling, banging and WWE style wrestling in my attic. I spent the entire night calling all over the DMV for 24hr assistance as I was terrified with the ongoing noise occurring in my townhome attic. With no assistance from Animal control or others that claim to help with animal removal (because the animal was not in my immediate household) -I called and left an SOS for JJCG. Jesse called me back and was able/WILLING to come to my home on a Sunday morning. He was EXTREMELY professional. Had some serious hi-tech gear and went right to work. Starting with my roof he noticed immediately I had a loose ridge vent on my roof. Sure enough, he went on the roof and replicated the noises I was hearing the entire night before. He nailed and sealed the vent for me and still was thorough by going into my attic for a full inspection. Long story sort, I had no alien like animal causing me havoc and my attic was in tip top shape. Luckily for me he saved my roof ridge vent which would have undoubtedly caused an open-all-night entry for animals. I THANK JJCG for answering my distress call and coming to my home on a Sunday. I will no sleep peasfully tonight thanks to Jesse. And my I add he is theee nicest guy I have met for a weekend service call. I got an education lesson on rodents that was priceless. Thank you, thank you JJCG.

Worked well. They were professional and prompt; determined type of squirrel and removed them with traps; came back to check and then set them free somewhere else away from us. Checked again after and no further problems.

Jesse was great. He came the day after contacting him, discussed a plan to trap and remove the squirrels, then got started that day after we came to an agreement. He followed up the next day to check on any activity in the traps and quickly came out to remove the squirrels as they were captured. He also patched the hole in the soffit and replaced the siding with extra siding we had in storage. Jesse was very professional and extremely responsive during the entire time he was assisting us. I recommend Jesse's services very highly.

My Condo association paid for this, so I'm not 100% sure on the price, and I don't have any cost comparison notes.
Jesse gave me a heads-up phone call prior to his on-time arrival.  He assessed the situation quickly and accurately.  He gave me options and wasn't trying to push or sell me anything.  We've got a one-way door with a live trap on the hole where the squirrels chewed their way into the eaves of my house.  It would have been easy to simply stop up the hole and call it a day.  Instead he went the more thorough route of setting live traps for the actual offender.  If he would have simply plugged the hole, they were likely to just find another place to chew their way in.  Additionally he took a thermal imaging camera around the wall and roof areas to see if there was anything sleeping in the walls or eves.  A real 'do it right the first time' attitude. 
Well, turns out there was a squirrel in the dead space in the eaves, which he caught in the live trap.  He came back the next day and removed it and opened up the eaves to extract the three babies inside as well.  Jesse then repaired the eave and put metal flashing over the hole they had chewed. 
Jesse was very polite and personable and easy to work with. I hope we never need his services again, but if we do, I know who I'm going to call.
