We had a wonderful time working with James and Tae Oh. We knew we didn't like what was in our house to start, but we weren't sure what would look best and how much we needed. It's hard to know when and where to start and stop when it comes to trim work. James and Tae Oh were able to advise us on exactly what we should do to really make our house stand out without spending a lot. We showed them the areas that bothered us, and we were completely comfortable saying "Do whatever you think looks best." But they definitely collaborated with us and were willing to re-do something if it didn't quite work (due to our house being built crooked -- they actually had to alter their work sometimes to make it appear straight, and that's not easy to do!) My husband has an engineering background and is super-picky about these kind of things, and he is just over the moon about our "new" house!
