Rod Barney and Jason did an outstanding job installing LVP flooring in my kitchen and laundry room. I had had a few previous estimates, but Rod was the only one who realized I would need an extra layer of cork below the LVP, to raise the height 1/4 inch so there would not be a gap below all my vertical molding. They arrived when promised, worked and measured meticulously, were very careful to not cause any damage, and cleaned up well. I would definitely use Rod again!

We are extremely pleased with the job. Rod first came to give us an estimate of the cost and also, at our request, gave us his views on whether to install LVT or porcelain tile. We decided on LVT and he provided a detailed estimate. The installation was painless (for us) and very carefully done. The crew was careful in moving our furniture and in cleaning up. Everything was done with great attention to detail. We selected Rod because our contact at the flooring store gave us a list of good installers to consider but said that Rod was "an artist". We agree.

The cork looks great.  Its so soft on the feet and so warm.  Rod and his associates are very professional, timely and considerate. Collectively they took up the old rug and tile, cleaned the area then installed the cork and tile flooring.  Would highly recommend Rod Barney Flooring and would work with them again in a flash.

Rod & his team did a great job!  I obtained 1 other estimate (from a well-known floor store in town).  The labor prices were comparable (one was lower on some aspects of the labor and the other was lower on others) but the price of the materials (NOT included in the price I gave in this review since I bought it separately) was a good $1000 lower through his contractor-only showroom.The guys did an awesome job!  I felt comfortable leaving them there with a key to the house to come in on their own the 2nd and 3rd days while I was at work.  It looks amazing and I couldn't be happier.
One note - Rod is better about answering his phone than about keeping up with emails so phone is the way to go with him.
