We had two chandeliers installed; one was more than 15 feet up in the foyer. The team did an outstanding job -- even when we discovered we were missing a crucial piece. They helped us locate where to get the piece and never missed a beat. They also installed a dimmer. We are extremely please with the results. Purcellville Electric performed first rate work at a fair price. We would definitely call them again!

Excellent customer service from the office staff, from setting up the appointment to answering a minor question about the statement. The electrician who came to our house was fast and efficient and braved a two story latter on a cold January day.   Was very happy with the experience all the way around and highly recommend.

Mike came out for a consultation and then followed up with a crew to do the work. They did nice, clean work and installed a transfer switch down at our barn so that we can hook to a generator should we lose power for an extended period of time. It is imperative that this works seamlessly as no power means that the horses will not have water. They installed and tested everything and we are set for the next power outtage!

I did not choose them, because I got a lower bid on the job. But I was very, very impressed with the professionalism of the company. I probably will use them in the future.

As usual, the owner of Purcellville Electric came by soon after I called to review the job, ask questions, point out potential problems. We agreed that I would call again after the fixtures were delivered to set an install date. The fixtures arrived and three days later two electricians arrived as promised by 8:30 a.m. and set to work. Working steadily, they completed the job in just under 8 hours. Where they found some sub-standard wiring in our house, they upgraded or developed in-code workarounds. The amusing part was the under-cabinet lighting, which required some physical gymnastics and more time than I expected. We have used this company for larger and smaller jobs in the past and always found them to be quite satisfactory.

For a year I had a problem with a back room in which none of the plugs worked. I changed the breakers and nothing changed. I had a friend who said he knew electric stuff go over it. He failed also. I feared a bigger problem and put off any repair and ran extension cords into that space. When I finally called P'ville Electric, they sent over 2 young men who quickly ran through the possibilities and changed one plug and tightened a bunch of screws and that was it: Two guys, less than an hour, only $70. Did I feel foolish for having waited? You betcha. THey even put up an overhead light fixture that I had been afraid to touch, at no extra charge!

Work was top notch from start to finish. Great care was taken and attention to detail is evident. Not a single mistake was made in the wiring or movement of circuits. Everything was carefully labelled before moving any wires. One experienced electrician and a helper were there every day for about a week. The job took longer than originally estimated but I had no problem with that. I was happy to see the electrician taking his time and doing things right rather than rushing and doing a sloppy job in the process. Helper even saved the strips of sod from the trench and put them back after trench was filled. Job passed Loudoun County inspection with no problem. Generator worked perfectly the first time.

I like them. I've used them before in 2004 and they did the whole house wiring and it was about $20,000. Their pricing is reasonable. This is a very expensive area. They do very good quality work. Their staff is excellent. I will definitely use them again.
