Salesman for the firm was OK. I paid 50% when the order was placed. Owner of the firm then demanded full payment before any installation. My only 'assurance' that all would be well would be his 'good name'. Threatened to not do business with me.. unprofessional attempts to intimidate/alienate. I ultimately utilized the firm anyway, as I NEEDED the project completed. The saving grace was the installer who was collaberative, courteous and cleaned up after himself. Due to what I perceive as inernal communication issues within the firm, it took 4 trips and a week of work to install this simple stair railing. It became much more complicated than what I'd perceive as necessary. (I paid AFTER the install was complete). I look forward to working with the installer/carpenter (who does contract work for Hayes) again. He's a decent and proficient fellow.
