On 2/12/15, I had a clog in my kitchen sink.  I called my condo association and they called F&L Plumbing and Heating, Inc.  The plumber came and he could not give me an estimate, nor did he accept payment.  He said that someone will contact me to give me an invoice and take payment.  It was an emergency and I needed my sink fixed asap.  The plumber snaked my drain
to the main line and also replaced 2 of the traps under the sink.  He said they were the wrong size.  After the work, the sink drained fine and everything was great?.until I received the bill.  F&L plumbing charged me $392.00 for everything.  I thought that was a little extreme.  I called around and for the most part, plumbers were giving me $250-$300 estimates to snake a drain.  I called F&L and talked to a nice lady named Joanne.  I talked to her about how I wasn?t given an estimate and that the price was a little high.  She said that the price was competitive.  I asked her if I write a good review for her company would she consider that and give me some sort of discount.  She said she could not.  Most companies on Angies List for example give a 10% discount or have some sort of coupon for members.  She would not budge.  So I had to pay it.  They did a good job and fixed it.  But the price was a little too high for me.

My range gas line was damaged during painting of my kitchen prior to moving into the home, and I called around to see if there were any propane providers that also did gas line repair for appliances. I was referred to Fand L Plumbing and Heating by Valley Energy (Chad @ Valley was very helpful and just AWESOME in general). I contacted Fand L at 8:45am, and by 10am, there was a technician and apprentice at my home. Jason and Frankie were courteous, professional, and very quick with the repair. They double checked their work, explained to me the work that was done, and were on their way in approx. 30 minutes. There was no extraneous upsell or work done, just the replacement of the line and fitting so I could use my range again (eating out was actually getting old). I would strongly recommend Fand L Plumbing and Heating to anyone needing an appliance fix, as they were the only provider that responded to me and had my repair done in the same day.

They gave a quote for about $650 but finished the work in only about 1.5 hours. The total for all materials was about $250. So they charged me $400 for 1.5 hours of labor. They are way too expensive for the trivial work they performed.
