I called back the original company to tell them I wouldn't be replacing the AC. They insisted their "diagnosis" was correct and asked if they could send out their "top" guy. He came out, said he had good news, bad news. The original leak was not found but a different leak was found. AC didn't need replacing but a different coil was leaking, estimated repair would "only" cost close to $3,000. Had Cascades Comfort out again, this leak was not found either. I was charged $150 for this visit which was a thorough check for leaks.

It’s just 2 brothers. They’ve always done everything they could to get things repaired in the past. One time, I had a problem and they couldn’t figure it out and they never charged me until they finally figured out what was wrong and fixed it. They are a really small company but they do great work. They have integrity. I can trust them. They are not going to lie to me. They are not going to overcharge me and they’ll do the job right. They are one of the few vendors I use that I don’t have problems about recommending. I’ve been using them for 10 years.

Fabulous. They are always on time. It is a father son business. They are very through and personable. They review the bill with you before you pay. We have actually called them after hours and they call right back.

They've been servicing it for probably two to three years. This might be the third year. The way that I had found them is a man had them replace one or two of his air conditioning units in his home and he recommended them so that is how I started using them. I didn't find them on Angie's List. Last year they put some freon in so it was more expensive. Yesterday, it was $85 so if it is just the regular thing without freon, it is $85. It is very reasonable. They are excellent. They are punctual. In fact, yesterday Patrick came about 45 minutes early. They are courteous. They are good and I trust them. It is good family business.

They are the best and fixed everything quickly. I can't say enough good things about this company and if you need HVAC service or help with your fireplace call them. They even send thank you notes after their service is performed. Nice touch!!

AC was not cooling like it should. He arrived right on time and found a mouse had chewed on the wires in the unit. He removed the nest, fixed the wires and also added freon since it was low. Was finished in an hour and the AC is working great now on this hot and humid day.

Robert from Cascades came exactly on time and was extremely professional. He took one look at the unit and diagnosed the problem. It was the capacitor and he had it fixed and pumping out cool air in less than 15 minutes. I can't express how relieved I was. Not only do I have A/C on a day it is going to be in the 80s (and I have pets), but I didn't have to deal with someone trying to sell me a new A/C unit or an unnecessary expensive repair. I will speak highly of Cascades to everyone I know. Honest, good work from a true professional is hard to come by these days.
