We terminated Zeb Wiseman (doing business as Atlantic Interiors, LLC in the Virginia/DC/Maryland area) for poor performance, negligence and personal disrespect. Demanded exorbitant advance payments and then persistently and dismissively ignored agreed work timelines, violated building code and safety compliance, and accumulated an unbelievable amount of construction dirt and debris. Cost over double the agreed contract amount, largely by extorting "change order" payments for work covered by the original contract. Schemed to add unnecessary and overpriced extras. Used mostly unqualified sub-contractors for a cut of their money. Concealed work defects. Caused and refused to repair property damage. Repeatedly came to job site acting disoriented. Treated our home as his personal and tool storage space for unrelated work, bringing his friends to loiter there, consume our supplies, and deface our furniture. Repeatedly lingered around my spouse in the evenings to harass her with payment demands for undone work and with indecent intimate propositions in our child's presence.
