WADE STATON PLUMBING

Working with Wade is great--honest guy who knows what he's doing and has been doing it forever. He's happy to do small jobs and I'd trust him with my first born. Another plumber was trying to squeeze another $700 bucks of unnecessary work out of me, but Wade did the job quick and right without add-ons I didn't need or want.

Wade is the best. Old school, country boy, who does great work, at a fair price. He can do it all. Plumbing, boiler, hot water heater...and even light electrical. Been doing my fan house and work for for twenty years.

Great. Mr. Staton came on the same day I called, found the leaky valve on the gas line to the outside barbecue, and capped it off since we were not planning on using it anymore. He is quick and does nice work.

He even waited around to check the units once they were under pressure and one unit did start leaking at the valve. He replaced the valve and saved us from having water damage on a wood floor and a call back. This is the second time we have used him and he is very professional.

We ant with his recommendation on the toilet and love the lower water usage and the functionality of the toilet.

It went great overall with the exception of having our sink faucet replaced. The part had to be ordered and we had to call the company back when we hadn't heard anything for a while. They were very responsive initially, very professional and did a great job, but if they have to come back out for your particular job, you may want to take the initiative to call them to keep your job completion timely. Once we made the call back, they came right out and finished the job. I didn't feel like it was on purpose, and probably isn't the regular practice, so, yes, I would use them again.

It went just fine. It was very hard work because the bahroom was so old. The cement floor and to be chinked out in places and repoured. Nothing was square and he really had a hard time making everything right.

It went smoothly. Wade came on time, fixed my clogged line. Found and fixed a clogged joint. Cleaned up the area and kept to his original price even though it took him longer than he originally thought.

A large Richmond area plumbing company had done some work about 8 years ago. All three of the sinks they installed leaked as did the toilet. Mr. Staton came in at first to repair the damage others had made. When I considered installing a second toilet, I called him. He had to chink down through a cement slab and work with 65+ yr old drain pipes. He did a fine job. He also installed an outside faucet for a garden hose. That the "other" company attached to the wall, but never piped water to.

When the water drained out of the washer hose into the pipe in the wall, it came out so fast that some of the water sprayed out onto the floor. Another plumber work on it a few months ago and he cleaned out the pipe and put heavy duty Drano in it. It was better for a few months and then started doing it again. When Wade came over I described the problem and he knew exactly how to fix it without any hesitation. He had solved this problem before in houses which were built in the 1960s. The cast iron drain pipe under the house over time becomes corroded so the passage way becomes very small. He explained everything and wrote a detailed estimate which was reasonable for the work. He replaced the drainage pipe with PVC pipe and fittings. While he was there I had him fix a running toilet and a blockage in my gas logs. So the $720 price includes replacing the main pipe under the house, fixing the toilet and the gas logs. He came two times. Always on time, courteous, neat. I'm very satisfied.
