Consumer beware. Royall came out to service my water filtration system as well as flush out a pipe under our home due to iron build up. After explaining in detail what we needed done, we were quoted $450-$500 for the service call, parts and labor. Now, we can understand a slight variance in price quote vs. final billing amounts, but a mere 2 days after the work was completed I get a phone call from Royall informing me of the total amount due. Imagine our shock to learn it’s DOUBLE the amount originally quoted!!! And furthermore, they want to run my credit card right then and there, 2 days after the service call, we haven’t even seen an invoice, they haven’t even mailed it yet! What? Who does that? Who runs a business in this manner? When you take your car in to be serviced, the service techs call you for approval when they see that there is more parts/labor than originally quoted, they don’t just do the work and when you go to pick up your car you’re hit with a bill you weren’t prepared for. No, that’s not how it works. Zero communication from service staff regarding additional work/cost. When they are out on a service call, their manager should have made them fully aware of the work requested and the quote for said work. When the techs see that they are going to have to perform more work, longer service call, additional parts, then they should inform the customer PRIOR to doing anything further. We are extremely disappointed, we enjoy using local, independent businesses but we won’t be using Royall EVER again. My husband spoke with a gentleman at Royall today, before giving them the go ahead to charge our credit card. He voiced his concerns, asked questions, explained why we are so upset with Royall’s flawed business and billing practices and this employee was SILENT. All they wanted was their money, they didn’t care how we felt, they didn’t care that we felt we were taken advantage of and they didn’t care to try to correct their mistakes. This isn’t the first time we’ve used Royall, but after today, it is the LAST time we use them. Never again Royall, never again.

I had an underground water leak between my water meter and my house. I called out a large, well-known local plumbing company to look at it. They told me that the entire line would need to be replaced and verbally quoted me $5400. I then called Royall for a second opinion. They found the leak and replaced a section of the water line for about $800. They came to work when they said they would and kept me informed of the process as it went on.

Called them first thing Monday morning and was told they would be out between 12 and 2pm. To our surprise, they called at 10am and stated they were on their way and would be there in about 30 minutes. They were very knowledgable professional and completed work quickly. They had all the parts needed and work was completed by 1230. We can't thank them enough. So glad to have the well pump working again.

In the wee hours of Sunday morning, I phoned and left a voicemail for the on-call person. I reported we were without any water and to please call back. The person responded and by 7:15 Sunday morning, 2 water specialists were on their way to assist. A bad electrical wire was discovered and needed replaced. At my request, a new well pump was added and a new pressure switch. Prepared with all the right equipment and parts to perform the work, water was restored in 2.5 hours. We greatly appreciated having water again! The Techs were knowledgeable, professional and provided outstanding service. I was left with a positive impression especially since I needed help on a Sunday. Royall Pump and Well was there to meet my needs.

They came out and did a repair on my well. I have county water but the well was still usable so we had them hook the well up to the garage so we could have running water there.

I had no water at all in my house. The guys had to crawl under my deck to get to the gauge and pressure switch under my house. They were very pleasant and fixed it so that I had water again and the pressure is better than it ever has been. They did a great job.

They are a small family owned business and they have been really great to us. When they installed our pump they let us make 12 payments at 0% interest which made it affordable for us. The annual check up they just did was satisfactory. It was messy under the house so I was happy to have them do the job. They had good customer service and were good about calling back and stuff like that too.

They did a great job and were very considerate and helpful. I was concerned about their trucks tearing up our yard so they put down metal and wood sheets to protect our driveway and yard from their trucks. The owner explained everything in detail for me.
