In general, my experience with this provider is that they only respond or are willing to do work when they do not have work for a major customer or builder. Although they do good work, it often takes many months of re-scheduling the job, and originally took more than a year for them to return my call when they ran low of business backlog. If you are a builder, all other jobs go behind the builder and you can get same week service.

We first met with OTG back in July 2012 and got a preliminary estimate and then a firm proposal. However it wasn't until near Thanksgiving before they were able to begin. They are very busy! Once they began, the patio, walkway and driveway went very quickly. The workers are outstanding both in skill and work ethic. They work until the job is done no matter how long it takes. One day it was cold and the concrete was not drying fast enough to do their broom swept finish, so they stayed until about 9:30 that night working in the cold to get it done. One minor issue was encountered where the design agreed to didn't make it quite right to the workers largely because of translation issues I suspect, however the next day it was corrected immediately. Also, they drove over a tree and destroyed it but they replaced it at no charge with a much bigger tree. The owners also own a stone making factory in Powhatan which is unique to the area and we had them build short walls and a lamp pillars out of that stone at the entrance of our driveway. It is beautiful and several neighbors have stopped to tell us how good it looks. Powhatan County has been giving OTG some bureaucratic grief over their factory and their interference caused us some delay in getting our walls and pillars done but it all worked out in the end. This delay was mainly due to a building inspector's intransigence more than anything else as OTG had met all the requirements that were presented to them. OTG is not inexpensive, but I would put their work up against anybody's and would definitely hire them again.

They made a lot of promises verbally that they did not carry out. They said they were going to color the concrete through out and they did not. They powerwashed the concrete and when they did this the color was changed to a white color. They said they were going to give it a chiseled edge and they did not. He said he was going to send us pictures of what our driveway was going to look like and he never did that. He did have some on his website but they look nothing like the work they did for us. Not all of the lines in sidewalks are neat it looks sloppy. Make sure everything is in writing.
