I called him and asked him how much it would cost to have him do the work. He told me that he wasn't sure until he saw the trees. He went on to the nursery and picked up the trees. So I talked to him and asked him how much he was going to charge me. He said, "I don't know until I plant the trees." So then he planted the trees, and I asked him again how much he was going to charge me. He told me $375.00, and I told him that was too much. He offered to dig a trench for me. I told him no and that I was going to talk to my husband. While I was in the house, he dug the trench and then charged me $500.00. I did pay him. The trees wilted, and the leaves fell off. I called the nursery, and they said that he didn't cover the trees at all and that the wind probably killed them. I would never recommend him. I will never use him again. I feel like he took advantage of us. He tried to tell us that our yard wasn't done correctly in order to get business. He does not have a business license in any of the several counties that I checked.
