This is the second time I have more than happily hired Mode Comfort & Air Quality for a radiator repair in our 1960s house. Not too many companies are so knowledgeable and capable at repairing the old hot water boiler systems, so of course, I was thrilled when I originally found Mode. I was just as happy with their second trip out. On this trip, Todd showed up and assessed the leaking issue at the bleeder valve of one of our baseboard radiators. He released the pressure on the system without a ridiculous $700 fee (yes, I have actually been quoted that by other companies) and replaced the valve. Literally, no fuss no muss on my part. Once again, I am thrilled with the professionalism, the cleanliness, and the quality of the work done. I can see why he is in high demand.

I knew I was going to hire Todd to do our gas boiler work before he even gave me an estimate. I typically choose based on competency and method rather than price. The work turned out to be excellent, and the price was definitely fair. After receiving quotes from 3 HVAC companies last winter and never being excited about any of them, I put off having some elective work done. When a leak sprung up this winter, I decided to call on a name I had only recently received. Todd showed up, and I sensed his competency, so I went ahead and asked him to complete the elective work along with the necessary repair. I really appreciated that he would be the one doing the work as I really don't prefer to talk to a salesman when making these decisions. Todd was completely willing to discuss options and tell me his honest opinion on whether or not the work really needed to be done. In the end, I chose to do more of it now than he even recommended. There was no pressure from him at all. We discussed some future work because Todd offered ideas I had never been offered from the previous 3 estimators. Based on the high recommendation I had received, I felt perfectly comfortable leaving Todd and his co-worker at our house to do the work while I wasn't there. Everything seemed to be in order when I returned. The work was done neatly and thoroughly. I would highly recommend Mode Comfort & Air Quality in the future.

Todd Rice is honest! He really educated me and did not try to sell me a service contract or unneeded services. I have since recommended him to friends who have been very happy with his work.
