Tony and his crew did an amazing job which took 3 full days. Each evening they removed all debris and cleaned up my driveway. It was an amazing job with no damage to any surrounding landscapes. I would never use anyone else. Additionally Tony has never had an accident because he and his crew are so careful.

They safely removed the tree without causing further damage to the house.  Work involved a crane and a cherry picker as well as his crew!

Mr. Hertzler and his employees did an outstanding job! They arrived on time, got to work quickly and worked through the day. The first day it started to rain so they weren't able to finish the first tree. Next morning they were there bright and early and got right to work finishing the first oak. They cleaned up everything before leaving that day. Wednesday morniing returned and finished the second oak. Watching them work as a awe inspiring!
Another neighbor and his wife watched them from the street and made arrangements to have a large oak removed from their back yard. Hertzler Tree Service completed that job last week.

The workers arrived on time, worked hard all day, and did an impressive job. It was actually a pleasure to watch them because of their great teamwork. They worked so well together, that they didn't cause damage to my blacktop considering that many of the trees were very close to it. I was also impressed when the owner, himself, advised me that a few dead trees might fall onto my dog pen and offered to take them down, too. Furthermore, they did an excellent job of cleaning up the yard after everything was completed.

If you are in need of a true professional who is prompt and completely follows through on agreed upon services, I highly recommend this company. Mr. Hertzler was scheduled to come over on a Saturday to provide an estimate. He was very thorough when he inspected the trees involved, and discussed what was necessary for the removal. He immediately returned my call when I was ready to set a date for the service. We scheduled the removal for early this morning due to the excessive heat. The crew arrived promptly at 7:15 AM and completed the work and the clean up by 8:30 AM . Each member of the team had a specific task that was taken care of quickly and efficiently. After all of the debris had been collected, it was ground up and carted away. Aside from the missing branches in the tree, I couldn't even tell that the tree service had been at my home! In my experience, Mr. Hertzler is professional, courteous and prompt. If I need tree services in the future, I will not hesitate to call and I encourage others to do so.

Excellent job. Mr. Hertzler came out on a Wednesday to give me a quote on my job. We walked around the property and discussed my needs. He seemed very knowledgeable and was extremely friendly. After our survey, he worked up a price and advised that he could do my job the next day! Thursday morning he and his crew arrived at 8am. We left the house shortly after they arrived and returned around 1pm. The dead trees, large stumps, and all of the debris was gone. That was the only sign that Mr. Hertzler had been there. Very professional job, prompt, and they cleaned up everything. I will be using them again, for sure.

I am well pleased with his service. My neighbors are amazed at his professionalism. These guys do not mess around. I have never been around when he has done his work. He will be there promptly when he says and will do an excellent job. All I have ever seen as evidence of his work is sawdust. He will trim/prune as needed and has all the equipment needed to complete the job.

We were under a tight schedule since Virginia Power was turning off the electrical in the morning and we needed the trimming done that morning so that our electrician could come and reconnect the power to the house properly (the steel cable needed to be re-installed). He we prompt and efficient. I hired him only days before and, understanding our situation, made room for us in his schedule. (Others had told me that they did not have time on that day).

Once the schedule was sorted out, the team arrived at the designated time. They arrived with a crew of four and all the right equipment. They took the tree down in sections and did not damage any surrounding landscape or lawn sprinklers. They left the area clean and tidy. This was a first rate job by a professional crew. I will call them again when the need arises.

These guys were professional, returned phone calls and showed up when promised. They worked without supervision and ground some very large stumps at a reasonable price. They also had to cut off the top of several of the stumps which were a few feet high. No problem. They left the yard clean.

I was nervous when he first came out because the limb was huge and hanging over my home, but he assured me that he could do the job. As I watched, I realized he knew what he was doing. The whole crew stayed busy and there was good communication between them. They cleaned up piece by piece as they worked. We were happy with them.

They did a very good job and I was pretty impressed with how prompt they were and how nice the trees looked when they were finished. They gave us a fair price and we did the clean up ourselves. We just put it all in our burn pile which they offered to do it for us.
