+ -1 moreHe estimated materials accurately, and had little or no waste which kept our costs low. The workmen arrived on schedule and proceeded to work diligently. They worked neatly and courteously, keeping our home as clean as possible during construction. Mark's suggestions improved the beauty of our home, especially when he suggested wrapping the deck around the above ground pool. The pool gives the appearance of an inground pool. Good idea! He suggested a supplier of vinyl fencing that matched the quality of our local supplier at a reduced cost. That way we were able to achieve more results for the same price. In this day of irresponsible workmen, Mark Casteel outshines them with his Christian morality applied to contracting and home improvement.
Description of Work: NEW PORCH, NEW DECK, BATHROOM REMODELING We shopped 3 competitors before selecting Casteel Construction to replace our decaying deck and peeling porch. Mark Casteel explained how we could go least expensive or pick the best material. Hew wasn't pushy or high pressure. He offered improved designs over our original througts that turned out beautifully, better than we expected. He ordered the new lumber very accurately. I think there was only one board extra, and he returned it giving the refund to us. Pretty accurate at estimating materials! He cleaned up nicely after work. Mark is very accomodating, easy to work with, and accomplishes what he says he will do. A very fair and ethical contractor. Mark knows the building codes and takes no short-cuts. Casteel Construction is an experienced professional contractor, capable of handling million-dollar homes from the ground up, or just remodeling our shower. He did an excellent, beyond expectation, bathroom improvement, at a fair price, with professional workmen and workmanship. Even painted the bathroom cieling at no charge after fixing some nail-pops. Yes, I'd hire Casteel Construction again. He goes the extra mile at no extra cost.
