After my current propane provider was bought up by Amerigas and showed what a greedy rip off company they are, I began looking for another provider, preferably a local one.  It just so happened I saw an ad in our local paper and got a postcard advertising for Adams Propane right down the highway.  They offered delivery, service, and installation and "old fashioned personal service."  I called them and talk to Mrs. Adams and she was so nice and quoted a right in line price and quick delivery.  In a couple of days, Keith Adams (co-owner) called and asked to come out and make the delivery.  He arrived within minutes and we had a nice chat while he filled my above ground and under ground 1000 gallon tank.  I found him pleasant, very professional, and a quick worker.  I volunteered to write a check on the spot and he accepted although he said it wasn't necessary.  I just want to say it is totally unnecessary to accept abuse by national ripoff artists like Amerigas when there is great home grown service nearby.  The Adams family business also supplies fuel oil, on road and off road diesel,  kerosene, straight gasolene (no added methanol), and services and sells propane appliances.    One other note, when you use Adams even with the small tanks, you pay for what he pumps not necessarily a whole tank like Blossman and the retail trade in tanks at the grocery and convenience marts.
