Walker's Cut-N-Trim

   The good thing is he's punctual  the ONLY good thing.  He did dig the holes, and another small hole.  He arrived at 10:00, as promised, with his girlfriend!  He immediately told me he had a BB-Q to go to today.  I was wondering how that affected me, and I found out.
   I have a very small area, and most of it is deck.  He did pick up the debris on the deck - most of it.  He didn't move ANYTHING on the deck to sweep/blow around the planters and small statues.  After he left, I found debris under and behind my statues and planters.   He trimmed a bush and wasn't happy when I wanted it shorter as I had asked.  He grumbled about having to get the ladder again, and trimmed the wrong place and made it lop-sided. .  He got rid of SOME of the weeds in that area I asked him to, and put weed-killer down.  He didn't bother to rake the area, so there are still leaves on the ground there.  He didn't even touch the other small area where the same weeds were.  He trimmed my large Camellia, but he cut branches off the bottom, but not the top  and sides, as I had asked.  He then butchered my Hydrangea, and completely cut off a small one next to it that I had rooted and was growing beautifully!  Never touched the bush I asked him to. The raking in that area was pathetic.  There was NO raking around the bushes at all, just the main little pathway. Most of my area wasn't raked at all.  He had his girlfriend do the raking.  He trimmed my 2 front bushes straight across only, giving them no shape, making them look like they got a crew-cut.  At 1:00, he started his truck, letting me know he wanted to leave.  I asked if he was done, and he said he did even more than he was supposed to - that was NOT the case at all.  I believe he just wanted to get to his BB-Q.  Oh, he dug 1 more small hole than I originally asked for.  BUT the entire job was very, very shoddy. He didn't do the entire yard, as we both agreed he would.  I had to ask him to pick up the trimmings he dropped, and he wasn't happy about that, either.  He STILL left most of them on the ground where they fell, even after I asked him to remove them.
  He advertised that most yards are $40.  He charged me $80, for a very small yard, with no grass cutting.  I knew it was high, but I needed it done.  That was $80 for 3 hrs of normal yard work!  I've had homeless people do my yard much better and cheaper.  I feel his work was very ship-shod, the very worse AND most expensive I've ever had done.  VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.  I think the ONE A- review he has is his own or his girlfriend's review.
