"[member name removed], I am sorry to hear that you are not overly pleased with the work that you had done however I am not aware of any residential projects in the D.C. Northern VA area, and we have no customer record for you in our system. I would appreciate it if you would contact me to be sure that it was us. I would hate to have this negative feedback if it were not us who performed the work. If it was us who performed the work I would like to discuss correcting it for you. I assure you that it is not standard practice for us to use clear silicone on anything unless it is required. This would only be in a case as a kitchen or bath area that was an off color. Our employees are all very skilled at custom tinting our tintable sealants to match the adjacent substrates. However tintable sealants are not mildew resistant or approved for contact with food. Mildew resistant and USDA silicones are only available in a very limited selection of colors and the only reason we would ever use clear would be if it was the best option. Perhaps whoever did your work used what was their best option but did not convey the details with you. I have no explanation as to why we did not receive her messages but they certainly were not ignored. Customer has already been contacted.
