Service was excellent, Leslie is awesome and does exceptional work.

It went superbly!  First, the quality of work performed is unparalleled and I know this because I used a couple other services before I found Poppy's and let's just say I had no doubt I was getting the best quality around once Poppy's was on the job.  What made the deal even sweeter is that the price I was getting was the same or better than all the others I tried for contacted.  I will be using Poppy's again for the 2015 season and for the first time I am looking forward to the cutting season.  
Beyond the price and quality I have to say that Leslie is a true Southern Gentleman and a hardworking, professional owner/operator.  He is always prompt and courteous.  He is quick to communicate if there is a change in schedule due to weather or another issue and lets me know when he will be out to work on the yard.  He has my highest recommendation.

Poppy's lawn service did an outstanding job removing leaves from our lawn. The service was initially scheduled for Tuesday, 4 December, but when it rained Poppy's immediately established communications to reschedule for a different date. The service was performed on Friday, 6 December and I could not have asked for a better job. Poppy's was meticulous and went over the lawn three times as the wind was blowing and leaves kept appearing from what was left on our trees and from our neighbor's trees. I would highly recommend Poppy's for Leaf removal and lawn work. Their prices are very reasonable and Poppy's has high standards for completing all work required.

1. Calls the day before to confirm appointment
2. Uses both riding mower and regular mower to get all areas of the lawn close to the house and landscaping
3. Edges-trims sidewalk, driveway, fences and house - and especially does a great job on the ditches in the front of the property
4. Blows grass clippings off of sidewalk and lawn
5. Friendly, courteous and professional
6. Accomodating if we have to change an appointment date
7. All of this! for a very reasonable price.

Responded to my initial call and every call very quickly. Did the work very well and even called when the the driveway needed extra work. Prices very reasonable. Did a great job of staying in contact with me - always called the day before he planned to mow. Will continue to use his services.

Mr. Leslie cut the lawn and edged around driveways and the sidewalk. He does a great job and is quick to respond!

Leslie Blake is the owner of this company. He shows up mostly on time. They do give me a warning call the night before, letting me know that he is coming so that I don't forget. He goes above and beyond by actually helping people that he possibly can. He actually fixed my riding lawn mower. He does other things too like clean up the gutters, pull out trees and bushes if one need them pulled out. They do a lot of such stuff.

My husband was in the hospital, our riding lawnmower was on the fritz, and we had just had a bad, bad storm. My lawn was covered in limbs, leaves and debris, and I couldn't do the work myself. Leslie was able to come by the day I called, assessed the job, and called me back with a very reasonable price. He performed the clean-up the next day, cutting the grass and doing the weed-eating and trim work as well. I continued to have him cut and edge the lawn while my husband (and our lawnmower) was out of commission. Leslie always called to remind me of our appointment, and he was always prompt. I was very pleased with his service and felt he was extremely reasonable in his pricing. I would be glad to recommend Poppy's Lawn Care to my neighbors and friends.

Poppy's Lawncare is an excellent investment. A well kept yard is a positive reflection for the owner and the home.

Leslie will now continue to keep up the property lawns until the new tenants move in. I spoke to him about weeding the flower beds around the property before the date of move in. Leslie set the dates so that all will be presentable on the day of the arrival of our new tenants. I know that they will be pleased with his work. I will recommend his service to them. .

He estimated the job, arrived on schedule with 2 others and knocked out the work in one day. He bagged all the debris (about 25 bags), tilled the area, and racked/smoothed out the surface. Very nice job - will use again!

They did a outstanding job. They were on time and very polite. I would use them again.

They are excellent and we are extremely satisfied. It's only $35 a week for a cut, edge and blowing. It was $125 for the first time because our yard needed a good clean up. They used rakes and for three hours cleaned every nook and cranny. The yard had never been cleaned better by anyone we ever used in the past. They also cut out three oak trees and small trees that were growing between our fence and our neighbors fence. They also do extra things, they noticed our fence was coming apart with some nails and he repaired that, he noticed a screw was coming out of our gate latch and he fixed that today too. They just go above and beyond what they are required to do and they are very reasonable with their prices. They are the absolute best in comparison to the other businesses I've used in the past. Their hard work, commitment to quality service and punctuality stand out. If they can't be here for some reason they call and let you know, and they call and make sure you are ready for them to be back out there. They do an excellent job in everything they do with exceptional prices. I would highly, highly recommend them over any other lawn care company - even the big names. This guy is just starting out and he far surpasses his competition.

After arriving back in the U.S. after a 4 year overseas tour, our move into a new house was finishing up, and the lawn continued to grow up. We do not own a mower yet, so we looked on angieslist.com and chose Poppy's due to the extremely competitive price and quality workmanship. We are extremely happy that we chose Poppy's, as the yard looks exquisite. This work must have been grueling due to the amount of growth time between mowings, but Leslie (the owner of Poppy's) didn't leave until the yard looked perfect. Each time Leslie comes he leaves with the lawns looking well groomed, detailed and clean. His willingness to do the extra work for me by pulling all the weeds from the front flower beds was really appreciated. He is fast, efficient, punctual, professional, and adapts his work and schedule to the needs of the customer.
