MD Lock Doc

Mitch is an awesome person and knows his craft well. Our first contact was for a winch boat key my husband had lost. Upon arriving Mitch showed my husband that he had left the winch unlocked! Mitch didn’t charge us even for the call. Fast forward to a few weeks ago and we needed Mitch’s service again to help with a dead bolt on our front door. He came out that day, and had to replace the lock. Again just an awesome person all around!

Very Professional, exceptional

Dave was wonderful. I originally called after 5:00 on Wednesday, and he was at my house promptly at 9:30 on Thursday and got right to work. He even fixed the deadbolt on the back door that never wanted to seat properly. I will absolutely call MD Lock Doc again when I need locksmith services.

Great! They came very quickly and got the work done fast. Had good information about our locks, fixed a deadbolt that wasn't deep enough, straightened up crroked and upside down locks. Very friendly, professional and clean.

From the moment I called MD Locksmith today to the quick response to my home I can't help but give a great rating. My husband lost the keys to the boat and trailer. We needed help for the trailer lock right away, as we are selling it. Well Mitch was in our area, came right over, found the lock unlocked, pulled it and gave it to my husband to replace. Mitch did not charge us a cent! That never happens in today's world. In the future if I ever need a locksmith guess who I am calling? That's right....MD Lock Doc! Thanks Mitch so very much!

Mitch was punctual and very friendly. I love having the peep hole in my door so I can see what's going on. (I'm a bit nosey) When someone knocks I can look to see who it is before I open the door. He is very professional and I think the quality of his work is excellent.  Very satisfied with the price. Will use him again.

Mitch came out straight away. He had to come from another city but was there within 45 minutes. He got the lock opened within minutes, working with my frazzled son, reassuring him this was not a problem at all. Once it was opened my son brought me the bill to pay and I thought surely this MUST be wrong!! It was half what I'd expected seeing the other charges on Angie's List. But no, since it was a fairly simple fix for him, even though he came out on a Saturday, he did NOT overcharge me. Bless him, I will keep that in mind for the next time I or anyone I know needs a locksmith. I'll never use anyone else again. (See above for more details)

Mitch is a very lovable guy but he is not professional, nor responsive or punctual. He will tell you he is going to show up each time you call but you can not trust him to be where he says he is going to be. His work (when he shows up) is excellent, however, I can't use a guy who doesn't show up.

The deadbolt on the front door of my home was semi-broken and needed repair. When the key was inserted into the deadbolt from the inside, it could be turned 360 degrees and would not engage the bolt. I wanted to call a local locksmith so I chose the first one in the phonebook with a local address. Turned out that MD Lock Doc had moved to Portsmouth but when I called the office I was told that the locksmith was in the area, and was given a number to call. When I explained the problem he told me that he was working another job in the area, but he could be over in 15 minutes...and he was! I can't recall the last time I was given a time quote that was actually honored. The problem was solved in 15 minutes and, just being curious, I asked what it would cost to install a deadbolt on my exterior garage door. He took a look at it, gave me the estimate (which I found to be reasonable), and told me he would be back later to do the installation. Not only did he call me when his other job was finished, he also told me when he would be there...another promise kept. This installation took a little longer because a deadbolt was not originally installed, but the job was done efficiently and professionally. I am very satisfied with the work done by MD Lock Doc.

He came to the house the same day, rekeyed all four locks quickly, and charged exactly what I was quoted. I was very happy with his work, and will be calling him in the future the next time I need a locksmith.

The servide provider provided an estimate over the phone and stuck to that estimate. He arrived on time. He was courteous and professional. He wasted no time in starting the job and completing it. He cleaned up after the work was finished and carried the old locks and empty cartons out to the recycle bin. I would definitely use his service again.

The serviceman arrived over 3 hours after the scheduled appointment time. He did not call to say that he was running late. Once he arrived, he hurriedly completed the work and forgot to install the one deadbolt until he was reminded.
