I needed a contractor to do a variety of repair jobs found on a home inspection to sell my house. The whole experience with Gambol Home improvements was very good. He provided a fair quote for that work that needed to be done. He was punctual in arriving on the day we agreed to and his crew got all of the work done in the time he estimated. The quality of the repair work was very good also.

Mr. Gamble introduced us to Billy hardison and Mr. Gamlbes partner. They joked around that they were equal partners, but Mr. Gamble made it very clear that he was the senior partner. The contract that we signed, it stated that in his license it didn't cover the type of work that needed to be done. I feel like he tricked my husband in to becoming the general contractor on the job. He stated that all checks had to be made out to Mr. Hardison and not Gamble Home Improvement. I feel like he prays on elderly people. They left a lip on the outside of the deck the is a huge tripping hazard. There are places where you can see rust stains where they had left packs of nails on the white vinyl. They damaged the plaster on the interior of my house in the ceiling from banging on the walls so hard. The shingles on the roof they installed were done poorly and very misaligned. The roof is so bad it is leaking. This has been going on for 9 months now. They come for a couple days to do work and then are no where to be found. I have tried to call him several times and the only response I will get is through text message. I have had to hire a reliable contractor to now finish the job.

It went well. We have used him off and on for the past 4 or 5 years. He also painted our hosue 3 years ago. He did excellent job.

His quality of service was terrific. He did it when he said he'd do it, on time, and his price was very reasonable. Other people quoted me $3,000 for the services he provided!

He always gives you an estimate and is very good about saying if something needs done right away or if you can wait. He is very thorough when looking at everything, and he makes sure that he has a very accurate picture of what the problem could be. I really trust his judgment. His prices are very reasonable. It is very easy to arrange schedules with him. He gives you at least a 1-year warranty on his services. He is very good about coming back to fix things that he has worked on.

I'm using Bobby Gamble again! He was here on time with and estimate (a very reasonable estimate) and he did the work the same day! He even took pictures up on the roof to show me the problems before the repair, and how it looked after the repair. I am very pleased with this company and will calling them again for more work in the future.

Bobby Gamble was very responsive and professional. Even though it was raining, he returned promptly the next day (like he said he would) and fixed the issue right away. He was very nice and helpful! I would use him again in a heartbeat.

I was completely at ease with Bobby and his crew and had absolute confidence that the work would be done professionally, on time, and with attention to details that are so important in this type of job. Bobby Gamble does business ethically and fairly -- something that is hard to find these days. He has been in business for many years and enjoys an outstanding reputation. (Don't tarry if you need a roof as his schedule fills quickly!) He explains the work to be done clearly and in a manner that folks can understand without being condescending. He is open and above-board with his pricing and estimate. You know exactly what will be done and how much each component costs. He encourages questions and is never impatient in answering or coming back to bring samples or to just discuss the job. I look forward to having Bobby do ALL the home improvement work needed on my home in the next year. There will be no need to waste my time and put myself at risk, getting estimates from others.

They first give us an estimate. We got three estimates and theirs was in the middle. After finishing the work they cleaned up meticulously at the end of each day. The work stretched out a little bit longer than what we expected because the weather was bad. They were polite, courteous, and did a good job. Everything turned out fine. The roof is still in good condition. They are a good roofing company. They were recommended to us by our neighbor. Two neighbors in our block had used them and spoke highly of the company. They do work all over Virginia Beach. I see their truck from time to time. People are still using them. The owner and the workers are very friendly.
