AMERICAN TECH SUPPORT

The owner of this company is, in a word, crazy. He demanded to be paid for the work performed on a rental property before it was fully finished and before he was due the money. He called me repeatedly on the phone demanding a check, then came to the rental property after dark to pound on the door, shout my name, and ask when he was going to get paid. I told him through the locked door that this was private property, no trespassing signs were posted, and he was trespassing. He still refused to leave, so I was forced to call police and swear out a warrant for his arrest. When I got home, I found a note he had left on my front door. I never gave him my home address! Dealing with this man and his company has been a frightening and frustrating experience. As for the quality of the work performed, he cracked drywall and plaster in multiple places throughout the house. His vent openings were so poorly cut that some of the openings extend outside the vent covers. I had to hire another contractor to come in and clean up this company's mess. As for workmanship, the contractor "finished" the job several days after the 10 day deadline specified in our contract; this is even though the property was open to him any hours and all days during the contract period. The owner explained that he worked Monday through Friday 9-5 only and did not work weekends. On the days the crew did show up to work, they got there late, including two different days after 10 AM. This company got my business because they bid the lowest price and were licensed, but I would never, ever hire them again.
