They're professional. The staff is attentive, dedicated and seem personally interested. Their facility is set up very well for boarding. Their prices are reasonable.

I was nervous about having to kennel my dog after immediately arriving to Richmond since I didn't have any contact to get recommendations from. I called several vets in the area where my temporary housing was located and several of them suggested Brandywine. I called ahead and representative had all the right answers regarding procedures and emergency care. I showed up unannounced and found a clean, comfortable facility. They were careful to transition my dog onto their food, using some of mine and offered to feed only mine, if I preferred. They sent some of theirs home with us when I picked him up and he actually prefers it to what we had been buying, so I have switched. When I picked my dog up he was healthy, happy and clean. They were even tolerant of my call just check in. The $14/night was a discounted military rate. I believe $16 was the regular rate. If I travel again, I will likely return. It was a bit of a drive out of the city, but well worth it.

It went quite well. I was a bit surprised that the job was as impressive as it was. The kennel owner recommended their grooming service with such high praise that I decided to try it since the dog needs to be washed when she comes home from the kennel. I expected her to look the way she looks when I give her a bath. Boy was I in for a surprise. Her coat glistened and shone and stayed that way for much longer than when I give her a bath. It was an excellent service and I will definitely use it the next time she boards at Brandywine Kennels.
