They are outstanding! Their price was fair.

It went great. We've used them for some small work in the past, and some family have used them for larger projects. They were not the cheapest, but their estimate was extremely reasonable. They completed the work on schedule and on budget – while also being accommodating of changes and additions. The owners are competent and experienced, and they're able to give good recommendations on products. The guys working at our house seemed competent and experienced, and they're friendly, honest-seeming people you don't mind having in your house for weeks – they don't put off that that casing-the-house-to-rob-later vibe one sometimes gets. The main reason I chose Young & Rannigan and would recommend them is that I trust them to do it right. And in the off chance a mistake is made, I trust them to correct it. Add in reasonable rates and that makes a construction team I'll use every time.

Everything went very smoothly.  In the diagnostic and planning stages, Brian identified what needed to be done to repair an aging house and had excellent guidance regarding choice of materials for the new railings.  Execution of the project over a couple weeks went as scheduled.  I was very pleased with the much improved appearance of the exterior of the house.
This was the second occasion using BC Young Fine Buildings.  In previous work several years ago, they did extensive interior renovations.
I will undoubtedly use them again for future work.

Remodeled bedroom and added balcony and master bath. They worked well with our architect and did excellent quality work.

We really enjoyed working with Brian and his crew. He was easy to communicate with and quick to fix anything that wasn't perfect. Brian was professional and punctual throughout the process. We did run into a few snags with the drywall and electrical subcontractors, but Brian handled it while we were away on vacation and made sure things were finished well. We would certainly work with him and his crew again.

I was completely satisfied with the services provided. Brian made excellent suggestions about how to deal with various problems, and the quality of all of the work was first-rate.

You can't find anyone better to work on you home. Brian Young is the owner and he is the only one we will allow to do any work in our home. He is a perfectionist. If he is not happy with what was done by one of his guys, it is ripped out and redone. His estimates are right on the money. He is aces to work with. He is every bit a gentleman when he is in your home. He gives you total respect. He is the only one I call for anything. The kitchen window he replaced is drop-dead gorgeous. When he does something, you can't tell that it is an addition or replacement. It is just like a smooth transition. He will hire only if they are expert at what they do. His price is fair.

His name is Brian Young and he is a wonderful contractor. It took a year for him and I think he finished it probably in January of 2008. He was very competitively priced. He was very friendly and very open. I think he does new buildings as well as remodeling. I just thought he seemed very honest and very competent. He worked well with our architect.
