Mark's Floor Service

On the last day when he did the final coat on the floors we could not walk on them so we paid him as my husband had used his father who has since passed away for 25 years when he was a builder and we trusted Mark would do a good job or would make it right. The next day when we could walk on the floors we found horrible drip marks all over the floors and steps. The floors were not completely cleaned before the last coat of poly was applied so there was dirt and hair that had been covered over with poly. Around every doorway and our fireplace it had not been sanded down and your socks will pull as you walked over them. We called him and once he finally showed up he admitted that he did not do a good job. He returned the next day and sanded out the drip marks and the rough spots and said he was going to pick up his wife as she is one that cleans the floors and would be back shortly, this was at 12:15 and by 3:30 pm my husband called him and he said he was on his way and he never showed back up again. After admitting he did a bad job, he left the floors buffed with sandpaper all over the floor and never has come back to finish the job or refund us any of the money. My husband having been a building had to rent a buffer and we had to purchase poly and my husband had to spend an entire day making them look decent. The sanding job he did was horrible to begin with and we are quite disappointed that they are people out there that do business this way. DO NOT USE HIM.
