He remodel the tile completely. I was fascinated on my front law. He was good so the job turned out beautiful.

Engaged Creative Tile Concepts to remove and install a new backsplash behind the new granite counters and around a fireplace. Creative tile did an outstanding job. Job came out better than expected. Work spanned several days but the tiler stuck to it and paid incredible attention to the detail of the work and cleaned up at day's end. Communication was excellent; owner responded quickly to questions and scheduling changes when they happened. Removing the old backsplash was a challenge but the tiler handled the job very well. End product is definitely something to be proud of. Pricing was very fair when compared to other vendors who we engaged for quotes. If you are looking for someone to do tile work (backsplash, floors, counters, etc.) look no further than Creative Tile Concepts. You will not be disappointed.

Sergio from Creative Tile Concepts responded promptly to my request for a quote and was able to get our fairly small job scheduled quickly. I can't say enough about how amazing Sergio was throughout the whole process. I provided him with vague ideas and concepts. He was able to take my ideas and pull everything together into a cohesive design. He listened well, and every time he'd send photos of components for the remodel, they were exactly what I had envisioned. Everything came together with amazing craftsmanship and I couldn't be happier. There were also the inevitable surprises, and Sergio did additional work within the original quote to resolve the problems uncovered during the renovation including cut/unsupported joists. I'll be calling when I remodel my bathroom.

Sergio was easily reached for scheduling the project, showed up on time and completed the project in one day as planned.  Sergio and his helper were very professional, easy to work with and did an outstanding job and did not make a mess.  Needless to say, we love our backsplash and we would most definitely use him again and highly recommend him to others.  He is also a very nice person and wanted to make sure we were satisfied.

Our house was built in 1960 and the bathroom reflected that era, not to mention the grout in the bath surround was in dire need of attention.  So once we gathered up the initiative (and funds) we went through the process of receiving quotes and interviewing contractors.  Being a contractor at one time myself, and having owned four homes over the years, we where well aware of the necessary effort and expertise it would take to do a quality job.  With that in mind we narrowed the playing field down to three companies - all of which had come very highly rated. 
We chose Creative Tile Concepts, not so much for the price (that certainly was a consideration, but all quotes where within the same range), but because of the attention to detail I felt that Sergio Esposito - the owner/operator, would bring to the table.  Out of the three estimates, Sergio's quote was the only one to mention using Kerdi membrane (water proofing) and Ditra board (floor).   Because of the age (and perhaps lack of maintenance of the existing tile) waterproofing the surround and flooring were an absolute necessity.  Wrapping the shower area after the installation of backer board with the Kerdi prevents any possibility of water leakage.  Additionally, using the Ditra for the floor simplifies the floor tile process as it is lighter and easier to work with than hardy board or cement board.
 
So, I had originally opted to do the demo myself, however after speaking with Sergio we decided to have his team take on that project.  That would speed up the work, plus they would dispose of the material.  Anyone who has ever had to deal with the old style of mudset will understand what a difficult job that entails.   Mudset is a combination of cement and sand spread over a metal lattice before the tile is laid.  The result is a very dusty, heavy and extremely hard to remove mess.  Better to pay someone else than to take on the aggravation (not to mention doing it for free). 
 
We provided all the tile in the form of 12" porcelain with a 3" glass accent running midway around the complete bathroom.  Additionally, we requested a built in niche, that Sergio graciously custom built for use as we didn't care for the standard sizes of the preformed units.  Ours is comprised of two cubbies, each about 11" tall.  
Now that this is complete, I don't think we could have asked for anything better.  A 55 year old home tends to settle with time, ours certainly has. Not only did Sergio and his crew take extra care in honoring our wishes, but went the extra mile in assuring that all walls where plumb and the floor was level - neither was true of our bathroom previously.   Once the flooring was removed, it was discovered that we had a water "issue" around the toilet, which required the replacement of the sub-floor.   Sergio took care of all of it.  As a matter of fact, he assisted me in installing our sink/vanity and the flush mounted medicine cabinet - none of which was required, but just being exceedingly friendly.  Probably couldn't have gotten my friends to help with that - you know schedules and all.  :)
We now have a beautiful new bathroom that simply exceeded our expectations.  Would I hire Sergio and his crew again - absolutely and without hesitation.   His attention to detail, correcting things that needed fixing instead of applying a band-aid truly show not only his professionalism, but his skill as a craftsman.  Cheers.

They encountered numerous problems, but always came up with solutions to get the job done.  In the breakfast room, the sub-floor turned out to be out of level to the extent that the newly installed tile did not allow the door to the garage to open without striking the tile.  The solution was to grind the sub-flooring and use leveling compound to provide a completely level base for the new tile.   The final result was perfectly level and a beautiful installation.  The other major problem was in one bathroom where the original builder had glued the 4 x 4 tile directly on the plywood sub-flooring.  Despite their best efforts, when the existing tile was removed it resulted in a very uneven surface, unsuitable for installation of the new tile.  Sergio and his team brought in a diamond-bit grinding tool to resurface the sub-flooring and provide a sound and level base for the new tile installation.  We could not be happier with the work that Sergio and his team did.   You can always tell when people take real pride in what they do.

I would highly recommend Sergio. He is very professional and cares a lot about what he does. He and his very small team are highly skilled in the art of tile. We purchased a house with a horrible DIY gone wrong slate master bathroom (tiles installed backwards in the shower, uneven slate tile floor, and creative plumbing) knowing that we'd need to gut and fix that bathroom. They were able to handle all of the issues we discovered as the demo went on and fixed all of them. Sergio worked with our schedule so we didn't have to take too many days off work. Other than deciding on the stone itself we let him handle the shower design and it came out beautifully!! The design and tile work really are a work of art! We are so very happy with our new bathroom! Hoping to hire him in the future to redo our fireplace.

He came Tuesday and Wednesday last week and did a great job. The cost was for his work. I bought the tile and he brought all the necessary materials to put the tile up. There were two walls. He is very professional. He is very good, meticulous, and clean. He cleans everything up. He just came in and did a great job. It looks great. I definitely would use him again in the future. I got a few of his cards and if my neighbors want someone who is very good, I would just hand them a card.

Everything went extremely well.  Sergio was a pleasure to work with and was extremely detailed in his work.  He was very flexible and worked around my schedule to get the job done.  He takes great pride in his work and it shows.  I would not hesitate to use him on any of my tile needs in the future.  He is a great guy and pays attention to the details.

Sergio worked with the insurance adjuster making sure the job was priced right..He had the materials on the job site on time and completed the work as scheduled.Our neighbors raved about the new bathroom. A few took pictures and asked for estimates.Sergio is the best there is out there.

Perfect see what he did for my home.

Sergio came onto my job as a subcontractor to my main contractor when their own guys were totally incompetent and we were completely upset with how the job was (not) going.  Apparently, they were starting to subcontract with Sergio on a regular basis.  His work is lovely, very professional.   He isn't the fastest worker  but he is very precise and will do things exactly as you envision them.  He likes to see his customers happy.   I'm estimating the cost since the cost was included in the total bathroom remodel and I can't say how much of the bath remodel cost was his work since the contract was signed before he came onto the job.
