It turned out that the sod was defective, having a thin sand base instead of soil. It failed to take root and grow. The sod distributor who sold the defective sod refused to reimburse Looking Sharpe for the cost. Nevertheless Looking Sharpe removed the old sod on my lawn, put down top soil and fertilizer and laid down new sod at no cost to me. Looking Sharpe absorbed the cost of the replacement even though the original failure was not their fault. This speaks very highly of Mr. Sharpe and the integrity of his business.

Excellent. I had a dry stone wall put in. It's expensive but a showstopper in terms of landscaping. Random strangers will admire it. Team were efficient, looked out for issues and resolved them quickly. Definitely recommended.

The work Looking Sharpe completed is excellent. Danny, the owner, had great ideas for redoing my back yard, and his team executed the plan well. His team, lead by Nestor, worked very hard to do things right. The principal issue working with this company is one of responsiveness. Although the weather this year disrupted scheduling, Looking Sharpe never initiated a call to let me know when the crew would arrive next. I called weekly and often waited a day or more for a response. Email responses were sometimes even slower. Bottom line - they do very good work, but be prepared to take charge of scheduling and communications.

I always have done my own lawncare, but medical issues this summer have forced me to hire a service. It's almost summer's end, but my yard will require maintenance for the rest of the season. After a couple of days of phone tag, Holly and I connected on the phone. She gave me a very reasonable price and was pleasant to talk to on the phone. She had a crew out here within hours after our conversation, They were very nice men, and they made my very overgrown lawn look beautiful. I am happy to hire them for the rest of the season and next year too.

Looking Sharpe Landscapes did an excellent job trimming bushes/shrubs and weeding the flower beds.

Danny and company did an excellent job. I have some very old hedges that stand at least 30 feet tall and form a 40 foot landscape fence a long my property. His crew cut my unruly tall hedges into tall square boxes like you might find at Disney world. His crews also shaped older bushes that are in front of my into slightly smooth, round bushes. His crew did a great job!

The project took several days to complete. Danny clearly communicated what would be done each day and the team arrived on time each day. After the project was completed, we had some problems with the landscaping lighting, but Danny was prompt with coming to our home to fix. Overall, we had a wonderful experience dealing with Danny, discussing his ideas, and watching his ideas come to life. We highly recommend Looking Sharpe Landscaping.

Went great - showed up right on time. They sent 4 workers to work like 2 hours...something like that. They sped through all the work in no time and and cleaned up before they left. Really happy. I really didn't think they would be able to do all 3 projects but was really happy that they did -- each one of these projects would have been at least a half day for me.

This was the second time we used Looking Sharpe and couldn't be happier with the work. They showed up on time, did great work, and most of all were professional and communicated at every step.
