The Elmendorf Team if led by Rick Elmendorf who is currently the VP and producing branch manager of First Home Mortgage, Fair Oaks Branch, in Fairfax, Va. After graduating from George Mason University with a B.A. in Mathematics, Rick started on the ground floor of the mortgage business back in 1994 as a do-it-all loan officer for a small mortgage broker. Early in his career, Rick focused on building a strong rapport with the US Armed Forces as well as servicing the largest financial planning organization to the military. Rick has consistently been a top producer along with managing a highly motivated team. Rick’s expertise is purchase money lending flaunting a close on time guarantee for both buyer and seller. Specializing in VA and FHA mortgages, Rick's team is all in-house (processing and underwriting) which helps streamline the process. In 2010, Rick earned honors at Bank of America for being the #1 purchase money lender in Virginia and #2 in overall production in the nation. Rick remains an active originator and is now also a sought after industry speaker and sales trainer. He is an expert on CRM systems, team building, and business planning.
