I had to call Micheal and his crew 4 times in one week with our office building they arrived super fast, were so professional go the job done and were so reasonably priced. I would suggest them to anyone needing plumbing work done.

Was here for 40 min, quoted to plunge and put some chemicals down the upstairs and downstairs. Halfheartedly cleaned the stopper (I had to go behind the young man and clean it all the way myself), spent 5 minutes downstairs and said they needed to charge more. Dont know if he put the chemicals downstairs, but charged me 15 bucks for it (rip off). Will not call again as he did not even do anything with the downstairs, and thats why I called. Could have done something with the extra 20 min im paying him for the hour.

Advanced was the first of the three companies I found on Angies List to reply to my request (a 2nd one called two weeks later; a third never called).  They responded very quickly and seemingly resolved the problem by putting an electric wrap around the main intake pipe.  This was a period of intense cold, however, and my pipes re-froze a few days later.  Their response to my call at this point was a bit slow, but I know that they were dealing with a large number of requests - and it seems that they have a very limited staff.  Once they got here the 2nd time, they added more wrap and the problem has not recurred - but why didn't they do the complete job the first time?  They only charged me for materials on the second visit.

Advanced Plumbing Services was assigned to my home warranty claim to unclog the main line.  They gave a two hour window and arrived within that window of time.  The two guys were very friendly, introduced themselves and got right to work.  They unclogged the drain and explained that roots were the cause of the clog and recommended a root killer as a temporary solution.  I asked about whether the pipe was compromised and they did not recommend digging it up at this point.  This was nice as I assumed this work would have to be done, but it didn't seem like a pressing issue.  Unfortunately due to the type of clog the warranty claim wouldn't be honored and I had to pay the whole price, $280, to unclog the drain.  I was a little surprised by the price as without warranty service I had seen others offering this service at half the cost.  I also read that plumbers sometimes checked the flow rate to ensure drain is working as expected and they didn't take the time to do that.  On a positive note they did not try to upsell anything such as a camera inspection of the pipe, they were very respectful along those lines.  Ultimately, I would call them again to price a job and would use them if they were competitive on that point.

Update: Four days later we discovered the main line couldn't handle the flow of the washing machine draining and flooded the basement again.  I'm a bit disappointed they did not do a thorough job of checking the flow rate to make sure that the clog was cleared enough to continue.

On June 24 I found wet carpet in front of my stacked washing machine and dryer,heard a slight hissing sound.Went down to basement to shut off water and found water cascading down wall below washing machine.
Turned off main water source and then called Advanced Plumbing.Was told staff was engaged in major job south of town but someone would be there later.
Thankfully Andrew arrived about 5o'clock,couldn't move the appliance and called Mike who arrived soon after.To assess the problem,they used a stepladder -one climbed up and draped over the top of the dryer while the other held on to his feet!
A leaking hose was noted and the valve was turned off .(I could then turn the main water supply back on)they returned early the next morning and replaced the faulty hose.
I was very grateful for their response and a job well done.

Under our home warranty they came to unblock a stoppage in our home. They did come out on time and were professional and appeared to know what they were doing. We also had a leak which we had them look at and it was determined they would have to order a part. We did hear back for the price of the part and labor.
The next visit with said part, it was determined that they part wouldn't work and that the company no longer made the part we needed. I had told them that we didn't really need that water filtration system but that it was hooked to our refrigerator and we would use that instead. But the second worker left a bucket of drain water in my kitchen and said he would call me back or be right back, he never came back or called. I had to call them.
We had a visit on Tuesday 10/2 where the faucet that delivered filtered water on our kitchen sink was and quot;tied offand quot;. Well - they also disconnected the refrigerator so we have no filtered water nor ice now too. This also caused another leak under the sink too.
That evening the stoppage started again. I again called the Home Warranty folks and again they assigned this company - thought I objected. Since I have called another and their receptionist knew that the part was no longer made for the sink and she suggested I contact a Rooter company to take care of the
blockage.
They also were assigned again for the second blockage but apparently didn't want to come out to our home again - thank goodness. They seem to not be able to communicate well with one another or their customers.

In response to their reply I will say this, we hired another to take care of the stoppage that they originally came out and cleared but within a week, it was backed up again. This person came, cleared the lines spent time also trying to see what the source of the issue would be. We haven't had a stoppage since. Appears to me, if they did the job correctly, it wouldn't have happened again? When we paid less for Robinston Electric to do the job in less time and with more knowledge and another, I would think that is a clear indication of the company. Also Leslie had told me they had bad reviews in the past but her husband now was the sole proprietor and that was changing. Issue is this, when a company changes names, changes ownership and continues to have issues with consumers you must question their work and business ethics.

"When this customer first contacted our company, she left a voice message on our answering machine which was very rude and stated that if she did not hear back from us immediately she would right negative reviews about our company and ensure that we were no longer in service. Our company was unsure about providing service to the customer because of the message but chose to provide service. During the first visit to the home our technician opened her drain line and had to order parts to repair the leak. We contacted her with information regarding a return visit and the customer stated that she happy with my technician. The part that came in was a cold dispenser for a reverse osmosis water system. Upon returning to the home for a second visit, customer needed a hot cold dispenser for a reverse osmosis water system. Our supplier Ferguson stated that the hot and cold dispensers were not longer available for purchase. We immediately informed the customer of this information and she chose to have the reverse osmosis lines capped. We scheduled a third visit to take care of this for her. When my technician left the home the customer was satisfied with his work. She later called back and stated that her ice maker was not working. I informed that customer that I would send a technician back to the home immediately to take a look at the refridgerator, however the customer stated that she would call someone else and hung up the phone. We later received another dispatch to return to the customer's home for another problem and we contacted the home warranty company and informed them that we would not provide service to the customer. (The home warranty company was also informed of the voice message left by the customer prior to the first visit to the home) Our family owned and operated company prides itself on our customer service and skilled technicians. As a class A contractor we serve hundreds of home and businesses per year."

The first day was fine. It drug on for about a week. I was not there all the time but it seemed very little was done some days. Also, I still do not have my house key back. I had been very pleased with the work from them in the past, but this was a different crew.

They were great, nice and friendly. They were very quick in what they were doing. Everything went very smoothly. They were on time as well. They were very knowledgeable. We had pretty easy things to fix, but they kept everything very clean. You would never know that they were here and so that was good. I wouldn’t be able to comment on the price since we really didn’t shop around. We would use their services in the future too.
