Extremely well. In 2008 we replaced the roof, Windows, and porch railings and columns in the front. Mike was attentive to detail, and made some great suggestions that improved the looks of that project. Later we had him reconfigure our back deck and replace the railings with vinyl, as well as build vinyl enclosures for our HVAC units. Fast forward to this year, 2019. We noticed a gap above each of the half round Windows. They came out and took care of the issue as well as re-securing the flashing below the Windows. No charge! We also had an issue with some of the siding fading. We were filing a warranty claim but were having difficulty finding someone to hang the siding at a reasonable price. Although this was NOT their issue, they agreed to hang the siding if we would pay for the materials. This was SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper than any estimate we had received. We decided to go ahead and get the work done before weather got bad. On top of that, they dented a gutter while doing the work and took responsibility for repairing that even though I never would have noticed it if they hadn't mentioned it. Great service. Not the cheapest , but if you want quality work and someone who stands behind their work, these are your guys.

Best Contractor I have ever used. Everything was completed on time and within budget. I have worked over with over a hundred contractors over the years and Bon Air is far better than any I have used.

HORRIBLE! Unfortunately, I have nothing positive to say about Bon Air Exteriors other than the receptionist is very friendly and nice. Now for the bad. We purchased our home through Main Street homes. Bon Air Exteriors was the contractor for the siding. We have had problems with the installation of the siding. We reported the issues we had with some of the pieces waving and bowing out really bad. This was reported within one year of the install date and within 3 months of us living in our home. After 4 different phone calls and failed/missed appointments the guy finally shows up and fixes the siding. Those same pieces which he never replaced - you can tell because one of them has a small hair line crack in it which we asked to be replaced the first time, all he did was most likely tighten the piece back down, and it is now bowing again one year later. In addition, we have at least 40 to 60 pieces or more of siding that is bulging out from the house to such a huge degree it's noticeable from a great distance away and casts rather large shadows underneath them onto siding below. You don't even have to be looking for it to notice the areas. We have had a county building inspector to our home, who was able to determine the siding was installed incorrectly. We called Bon Air to schedule repair work and also to schedule at our own expense repair work for a piece of siding accidentally damaged while mowing by a flying rock. Now keep in mind this is for an initial poor install job -not warranty work, and repair work on a damaged piece by our own doing. Our first appointment, he failed to show. His receptionist called to inform us only 15 minutes prior to the appointment. My husband had to take time off duty to be here for that appointment. The appointment was rescheduled for May 21 at 9:30 a.m. The friday before the appointment, his receptionist called to inform us that he would not honor that appointment either. The reasons we were given were this: They are too busy and since they have so much other business at this time, her supervisor is refusing to honor or do any repair work, replacement or warranty work with any Main Street homes customer past their one year Main Street homes warranty. Secondly, he was out of town doing another job that should take only 3 days but has taken longer and he wasn't expected back until the weekend - still this is before our scheduled appointment. When I explained that it was an install issue which had been verified by an inspector, she told me she would keep the appointment and for my husband to still plan to be here. She promised she would call back later friday or monday and let us know for sure if her supervisor would show or not. That call never came. We tried numerous times to reach them on Monday to no avail. They would not answer. Tuesday, my husband was here waiting. No show and all phone calls by us went unanswered. Another day lost of work and let me just say, even getting that time off work is a real pain! Our situations is this, it's not a warranty issue. The warranty company has sent someone out here and it's an install issue. We need the siding fixed -even the piece we damaged by accident. Bon Air refuses the work or to honor their initial installation work or most recent repair work. Our lifetime Siding Warranty will not cover faulty install. Solution? Thank heavens for a Lawyer with a big heart who viewed our situation and has offered services for free on contingency. So it seems we are going that route. When you buy a new home, and a subcontractor, as in this case Bon Air Exteriors, doesn't honor their initial work, or even bother to make it right and make you feel like you are dirt beneath their shoes, it's time to take a stand and let them know you are the reason they have a business to begin with. Don't fall victim to this company. Sure they may do the initial install job, but once they are paid then you are on your own - even if they messed it up! Also noted, they still will not answer their phone or return phone calls. By the way, I can't believe the other 2 reviews posted on here to be real. Not after how we have been treated. If they are real, then Bon Air at one point may have been a good company but now they are really went south in that department.

Bon Air Exterior was prompt and ontime while completing all phases of the job. There workers were professional and courteous. The job went smoothly and the owner was onsite everyday checking the job progress. The windows were started and finished in 2 workdays (22 windows). Next the roof was installed in 1 workday. The siding took 1 week to complete and the construction project lasted 3 weeks due to material non-availability. Payment for each phase was due upon completion of each phase. Our home is approximately 2400 sq. ft. Overall the end result was outstanding. However, after 2 years we noticed water coming in around the new.y constructed 2 window/1 door area. We contacted Bon Air and they came out and corrected the problem completely. It did require some removal of material and replacement of brick molding. Bon Air corrected the issue completely and at no cost to us. Also, recently we have had several shutters come off the house due to severe storms (5 years later). I contacted Bon Air, fully expecting to pay them, regarding re-installing the shutters. They came by and installed the shutters at no charge to us. I am very happy with the service and professionalism Bon Air Exteriors has shown us over the years. I highly recommendt them for windows, roofing, siding, gutter installation, and home construction projects. They are an EXCELLENT company to do business with.

The crew arrived promptly at about 7am. I don't think I actually saw all of them at any given time, but there must have been plus or minus 15 roofers, and I was reminded of ants on an anthill, what with all of them scurrying around. Drop canvases were placed everywhere. Although I hadn't told the estimator earlier, I told the foreman that all the siding would be coming off, so the need not be careful about that. So they tore appropriate sections of the siding off so they could install new flashing where the porch roof met the siding, as well as other appropriate areas. About 7 1/2 hours later, they started meticulously picking up after themselves. and by 3pm one could not tell that anyone had been there, either on the shrubs, the lawn, or the driveway (which they had swept). They made sure to leave one full bundle of shingles. I had become accustomed to seeing local houses take 2 or even three days with their roof jobs. Obviously, I was impressed. I should also mention they were the low bid of three bids, even a shade below Lowe's.

The contractor showed up on time to give me the estimate. He gave me good information. His quote was the best we received, especially for replacing boards ($35/board as opposed to $75 someone else quoted) that might be rotted. He said the work would be begun within a week. I think they went a couple of days over that, but it wasn't an issue. We weren't in a rush. I had empasized my concern that our plants not be damaged. His crew was excellent about that. A couple of plants were smushed a bit, but I think they'll grow back. After they were done, they cleaned up after themselves and left the yard immaculate - much better than it had been before they got there. I was extremely impressed by that. The roof looks terrific. The only problem we had was that they tore a hole in our screen porch accidentally. When I noticed it a few days after they left, I called the contractor who was extremely responsive and ready and willing to take care of it. Unfortunately it took about 2 1/2 weeks to get that fixed because they were busy. That was a bit frustrating, but I didn't get the sense that they were avoiding responsibility or anything like that - only that they were busy. They did a perfect job fixing it. Overall I'm extremely satisfied with their service and would definitely recommend them and use them again.

They did a wonderful job. I had never heard of them before. I opened the phone book and went down the line. I think they had the best competitive price. They came out and estimated and the next day they started the job. They cleaned up very well and were very prompt.
