Very good service. I've used Wright Stuff for yard work off and on for a few years now, and this lawn season we hired them for weekly lawn mowing. Very laid back company, but they do good work and always show up. Great pricing, too.

Excellent ongoing service and value for several months now. Jim was punctual, professional, and knowledgeable when providing a free estimate for the work I wanted done. His crew is personable and they always do an excellent job. They are also very reliable.

Great job. Called early Friday morning and they were here within an hour. I do my own lawn but my mower broke and wanted lawn done before bad weather started. Had no idea I could find someone so fast. And they did a fantastic job. Will definitely keep their number!

Our original contact with Mr. Wright sometime in May in which we wanted two things - our yard to be cut regularly and a proposal on a large back yard clean up as we were having problems with glass coming up through the dirt and cutting the paws of our dog.
The weekly yard service started right away (believe this is managed through Mr. Wright's son) and on 5/21 we received our email proposal from Mr. Wright regarding the backyard project.   My husband and I discussed the cost and went back to Mr. Wright via email on 5/29 if we could have line item pricing so we could consider doing the yard in stages since the estimate was around 10k.  On June 10th, I followed up again via email asking for a update on our request.  I believe my husband did get either a call and or an email after that - but we failed to follow-up, which is completely on us.  On July 7th,  called Mr. Wright and left him a message and then on July 8th, I followed up via email (which included my cell phone number), regarding the original proposal and our request to break down the individual charges.  I did get a response via a 3rd party in which Mr. Wright asked to come back out to house in order to redo the proposal all together.  I coordinated with the 3rd party to come out on 7/20 to redo the walk through.  The 3rd party confirmed that he completed the proposal and sent it to Mr. Wright on July 27th.  Repeated attempts to contact Mr. Wright from my spouse, the third party and I went and answered for weeks.  I finally got a text from Mr. Wrights son on 8/10 to see if they could drop the proposal by the house.   I asked them not to since we were not home at the time.   My request was disregarded and it was left at our door.
As this was going  on we also had some complications with billing / payment.  I did receive the first bill and promptly went to a mailing facility to send it out as we did not have stamps at home and we had other packages that needed mailed.   The mailing facility forgot to put a stamp on the envelope and it was returned to me.   I went up to the mailing facility and showed them the error, to which they sent out the payment via certified mail.  This apparently took both Mr. Wright and his son by surprise as Mr. Wright finally called my husband back and left a message for him & his son asked me about this when he was there that week to cut the grass.  I explained what occurred to his son and he mentioned that they are not use to getting payments via certified mail, request to cancel service - yes, but not payments.   My husband also did call Mr. Wright back and left a message for him regarding this.  After that I did not think about this again until I received my next bill from Mr. Wright.  It reflected no payments.   I sent payment for the new items billed and made note in the card that I mailed the payment n that I would not be paying the other amount until I figured out what happened to my original check.  We know that they received it since both contacted us about it.  I did find out what occurred with the certified letter - Mr. Wright never picked it up.  It was returned to me after quite a bit of time.  Shortly after that I received my newest bill from Mr. Wright.  I placed the original check, including envelope, which shows that post office attempted to deliver the letter several times, a new check for recent charges & another letter about how unhappy we were.   This included a comment that we were not sure we wanted to spend the 10k needed to fix up the back yard on a company we could not get to call us back.  This letter finally prompted a return call from Mr. Wright on 8/26.  I was not available to pick up the phone but did return his call on 8/27th.    The call started with him automatically going on the defensive and talking about how he had tried to contact my husband and that this letter upset him.   I listened to him go on for several minutes and the attempted to speak explaining all of what I have noted here.  Mr. Wright proceeded to interrupt me on several occasions always having some sort of explanation about the busy season and how busy my husband and I are.  After several minutes of being interrupted, i asked him to actually let me finished a sentence.  I did attempt to get all of this out via the phone, to which it did not appear that Mr. Wright was listening.  I finally just asked him to accept our phone conversation as notice of cancellation of our service.  He agreed and said he would send a final bill.   I explained that if looked at the latest payment it should already include most of the services rendered through August and feeling as if I just wasn't heard at all tried to go over my story again only to be told from Mr. Wright that he doesn't do email and or text - only  phone.  Additionally he told me that he wasn't interrupting me, that it was just poor cell phone service since he was in North Carolina.  At this point, I lost my patience and called him out this line of BS he was trying to pass.  He ended the call and we will not do business with him again.
Response from WRIGHT STUFF LAWN

"There is only one Wright Stuff Lawn Service. Mr. Wright and his son do not have separate businesses. We met with this customer on several occasions at length to discuss the landscaping project. There were many unmentioned voicemails that were left for this customer as well as a text message, and no documentation was left at their door without a call or text in advance. I agree that I cannot work with this customer. I am grateful for the many happy regular customers that we enjoy working with."

Jim is a great guy and I use him for my monthly lawn service.  He does a very good job and with his son they keep my place looking nice.  I have added a treatment plan to my monthly mowing and that is also going well.  He knew my lawn was Saint Augustine grass and how it needed a different treatment plan/chemicals.  He also works with several of my neighbors and you can tell the lawns he services...they are beautiful.  I plan to have him help with some plantings this spring. Just one of the additional services he offers to clients.

Outstanding!!This year is the second year of treatment, my neighbors have been utilizing TRU and quot; and quot; and other companies. The neighbors are spending way more on unneccessary treatments that are hazardous to the environment and their pets.Just give him a call for youself, you'll be glad you did.

This company charged either by the day or by contract. They offered extra service but for a charge. They were very good about what they did and were good workers. The price was about average. They came once a week in the season and I was satisfied with their service.

This guy was very nice and very friendly and I enjoyed talking to him whenever he came out. The last time he was out he did a great job on my lawn. He did not take the grass clippings with him because he had a good mower so you couldn t tell that he didn t pick up the clippings.
