Our house buying experience was smooth as silk thanks to the expertise and experience of Teresa and Louis Eisenberg. After meeting Teresa at an open house, we really considered, for the first time, buying a house. We were paying $1100 in rent for about 900 square feet. Teresa said that with rates as low as they are now we could get a nice house for around the same price. Additionally, she explained the time line that we would have to meet if we wanted to benefit from the tax rebate. Once we heard from Teresa we started the process with finding a lender. We ended up changing lenders during the process and that was one of the smartest moves we made. As soon as we were pre-approved, Louis started us on a search. His searches were awesome. I would never even have known about the neighborhood we bought in without it because I never came over to this side of town. We looked at about 10 houses and the only one that we loved was the one that we bought! Louis is very knowledgeable in home construction and was able to tell us if we were being realistic when we looked at things and talked about renovations. I could hardly contain my excitement when I walked into the house that we bought. Sure it had a bunch of cosmetic issues (like brown-black 1970s fake wood paneling all over and hideous 1970s linoleum) but the feel and layout of the house were AWESOME! We came back a second time, just to be sure and then we put an offer on the house. Teresa took care of the tons of paperwork. She was in constant contact with our lender and was always up-to-the-minute with what was happening. She was with us for the termite/moisture and home inspections and asked questions that I would never have even thought to ask! The closing was smooth sailing and Teresa was beaming as she handed the key over to us!
