Southside Hardscapes

The work was done in the back around the pool and they tore up the front and side yard to get to it and didn't think he needed to clean it up. He wouldn't return my calls to come back to fulfill our warranty for the things that needed to be corrected. I would not recommend him to anyone.

contracted Southside Hardscapes to do paver driveway, after extensive work and extra's added to the contract price for shore up work to the base, they did complete the job, however, within the first 6 months there were areas that "sunk in" and hold water. After the owner was contacted (George), he said he would take care of the issues, but we have never heard back. I have left message after message with no return phone call. The repair work doesn't appear to be that extensive and for what was spent on this driveway I would think there would be some type of workmanship warranty or at least a return phone call. Beware if you deal with this company, once the payment is delivered, you will likely not see them again if there are any issues left to resolve.

I called them about two months ago to cut my lawn and provide an estimate for regular (bi-weekly) cuts.  They did the inital cut two days after they said they would, after providing me with an estimate, I told them I wanted to hire them for the regular maintenance.  I expected them to return in two weeks for my next cut.  Two and a half weeks later, when they had not yet cut the grass I called to find out when they would return.  I was told the cutter would arrive that night.  He did not arrive, so the next day I called again.  I was told again, the cutter was on his way to my house.  The cutter later called to advise he was NOT on his way, that he had never been informed that I'd hired Southside for my regular maintenance.  He would come out the next day and would ensure I was added to the bi-weekly schedule.  Two and a half weeks later, again they had not cut my lawn.  I called and was told due to bad weather they were running behind.  I let them know I understand that, but a phone call to let your customers know when to expect you is appreciated, especially when there has been miscommunication before.  At this point, I was reminded that they had also not yet billed me.  I'd be happy to pay for the service I contracted them for (a BI-WEEKLY cut).  Now, here I am over THREE weeks after my last cut and my grass is almost thigh high!!!!!!!!!!!!  I am looking for a new lawn service.

Salesman instilled confidence that job would be done promptly but in actuality, the workers showed up late each day and took long lunch breaks and generally seemed inefficient at getting job done in a professional manner. Pavers look nice and once we get the surrounding flower beds cleaned out will be acceptable. I would recommend having the pavers installed before landscaping goes in.
