Warning do not use this company. Had to hire them because they were the only ones available.We had a leaky washing machine valve which they proceeded to say was a cracked pipe but was really just the packing. they upsold us a job. They also took 3 days to come and take care it. the floors got soaked and I had to put an insurance claim in.Then when I asked them to write to my insurance and tell them it was a cracked pipe, they refused**. We went back and then they finally agreed OK it was a cracked pipe. very unprofessional. They charged me $1200 for a job that should have cost 300. . I'm a contractor I would have never treated my customers like this. I have yet to hear a response from the owner.The job was done november of twenty twenty three

I was quoted $89.00 To have system checked Technician Arrived And Looked at System even saying he was Not As Familiar with Split Systems ... He said He didn't want to Check Pressure and Freon because that could Release and with everything checking Good he would let it Run Than left came Back 15 minutes later said He Checked Freon and Pressure and All good... But Now said he think Fan in unit was Dirty even though he had not looked At and would give me a Quote... The Quote was over $800.00 I know The unit can be replaced for $400 I've looked.... Than he says Service call is $177.00 When I said Last Year was $89.00 And Much more Work done... I called Office and The Answer was We said our contacts and policies have Changed... Even though I was Not told clearly I paid and Called the Manager to Ask What $89.00 was for? Manager says to schedule appointment and pull up... And Said last Years Technician was operating outside of scope of Work... Oh That's Right He was professional and Knew the Equipment... OUTSIDE OF SCOPE... When I discussed the Quote for cleaning The Fan and a new unit was $400 The Manager, I believe his name Was Brandon said, "Oh I've revised that Amount" I said No Need I won't be using your Company again.... I found it strange that he Knew about me Before We had Even Talked.... Departure and Arrival times for Technician were Fabricated... I will not Trust this Company in the Future... As I Said to Manager All this for $90.00 I am loyal to Companies That Stay at Professional Level each Time.. Customer Service and Care are Lacking...

Very well. The installer made an error calibrating the three zones in our home, but they immediately corrected it at no additional charge. They are very professional.

We have a service agreement with Norfolk Air for the HVAC system and it provides a discount on the electrical and plumbing work. We have used them for many things, and are always pleased with the service. They schedule quickly, they are clear about pricing and they complete the job meeting our expectations. I highly recommend the company. We have referred friends and family and they have been satisfied as well.

Norfolk Air responded immediately on a Saturday. The technician was able to resolve the issue in less than 30 minutes.

Norfolk Air was the 2nd company we had come out to the house to see why the 4 Ton AC Unit was not cooling. It was running non-stop with no cool air coming out. First company looked at the outside and inside unit, topped off Freon, found bad wiring in the attic and thought they fixed it. It continued to not cool and I was desperate at this point, as it has been well over 85 degrees in the house for over a week. I then called Norfolk Air as it got good review on Angie's List. The technician came out on time, and then proceeded to just look at the outside unit and determined that we needed Freon and we had faulting wiring on the outside unit. He then pushed Norfolk's Air Blue Ribbon Service Contract which we declined. We declined any service from Norfolk Air and called the 1st company back. They found that the Freon was good and the outside unit was fine, no faulty wiring. They found that one of the fans was "sticking" on the inside unit and suggested that we replace it. We replaced the fan on the inside unit and we finally have cool air. I would not use Norfolk Air ever again and would not suggest it to my friends or neighbors. I paid $119 dollars for a technician to tell me something that was not ever close to being accurate and for a technician that did not even take the time to look at the interior unit.

We were very happy with the work. The technician cleaned the evap coil, cleared the blower, cleared the drains, cleaned the condenser coil, and checked the electrical, temps and pressures in the system. We're confident that our system will work properly through the hot days ahead.

With our own and rental properties, we've been customers of several HVAC/Plumbing companies through the years. Norfolk Heat/Air/Plumbing stepped during an emergency after another company let us down. We've now been customers for several years and participate in their service plan. Always punctual, professional and responsive. We had one issue with a service call--and it was address promptly, professionally and free of charge. Can't ask for more than that. Highly recommend.

Each person, both the HVAC specialist and the electrician, called me when they were on their way. The electrician explained what work would need to be done and was quick with sending me a quote for the job. It was significantly lower than I was expecting. The HVAC specialist cleaned the ac unit as well as doing a check of the system and filters. He explained what he found and that everything was running well. Overall it was a great experience.

They did a great job. Easy scheduling process and very competent, neat and friendly technicians. We have used Norfolk Heating and Air over the past two years to service our two AC units, gas powered Navion boiler, tankless water heater and they replaced a cracked toilet recently. I would definitely recommend this company.

Taylor came and gave an honest assessment and talked me out of a higher priced install as he said it exceeded my needs. The company also worked to give me added discounts since I recently had other repairs to my A/C done and the unit failed for a separate issue. The team showed up earlier than expected. They were tidy, organized and thorough. The entire process went smoothly as the adjusted quickly and communicated about any issues that arose.

I had an intermittent problem with my AC. It stopped cooling one day so I shut it off for a couple of days, since I had to wait until today for the technician to arrive. The tech arrived and listened to my complaints and began checking the system. The problem was pinpointed to a capacitor on the outside unit. The tech got the part off his truck along with a large price guide. The Dual rated motor run round capacitor (440 volt 35/5 MFD) listed for $200 in his book. I researched the part after the repair was done and found that it lists at the big box hardware store for $8.76. If you don't know what your problem is, their diagnostic service can be very helpful. If they tell you that you need a small part, google the price of that part right away! If the part is something he caries on his truck, it might be inexpensive, but in his price book, it could be marked up as much as 20 times the retail value. I could have done this repair myself in 10 mins after the diagnostic for less than $10. Be careful about using this company.

Brandon did and excellent job diagnosing the problem, which was going to be expensive to repair. As the unit was 18 years old, Tyler talked with us regarding what they had, including an Air Scrubber Plus. We signed a contract for replacement with an American Standard compressor and air handler and an Air Scrubber Plus air cleaner. Drew and Michael replaced the system very efficiently and left NO MESS!!!! We will use the company for ongoing service. Highly recommend!

Norfolk heating and air are always top notch. Travis came out and was excellent. He took his time and explained everything he was doing and even worked around the pressure washer guy who came early.

It went well. $343 labor charge seemed a bit steep, considering that I had already drained the old heater and brought the new one, which I had bought myself, to the installation site. Redoing the copper tubing was done well, but insures that professionals will be needed again next time, rather than a handyman or an amateur such as myself.

Techs were on time, work was assessed , needed materials were on hand and job was done quickly and professionally.

Norfolk Air was very responsive. They had a repairman out to me within the hour, diagnosed and solved the problem. The technician was courteous and professional. He showed me where the problem was, and explained what he was doing.

The company sends an email complete with a picture of the technician who will be completing the work. This is very comforting for those households where the wife may be the work meeting the technician. the technician not only performed the work correctly, but made sure to explain what the problem was and how he corrected it. I trust this company and will continue to use them for all maintenance/corrective needs for my home.

I am a new home owner and went to Norfolk Air Heating, Cooling, Plumbing and Electrical on the recommendation of family members who have used their services. I was able to get an appointment quickly and they contacted me to confirm and let me know when they were on their way. I scheduled them to inspect and establish a routine maintenance schedule for my dual HVAC systems. The technician was prompt, professional and took the time to explain everything to me. I am extremely happy with the services they provide and will definitely continue to use them for my new home.

Asked around and a neighbor mentioned Norfolk Air in very positive way; after checking them out on Angie's List, I sent an email through their website. They fit me in, and their tech was early! Wade also was very gracious when I asked him to check out a second unit that had been malfunctioning. He also arranged for another member of the team to come by after he left to talk about system replacements, since the unit he quickly repaired is over 20 years old. He also answered my technical questions, which I really appreciated because I can get very curious about 'how stuff works' and I know he had other customers after me. They charged me for an $89 house call, and $89 inspection fee for the second unit, and $205 to replace the ignition assembly, all of which I consider very fair and reasonable. I recommend them highly (even if they DON'T provide and Angie's List coupon! AND - they EMAILED me my receipt/work order - yessss!
