Miller Oil Company Inc

I am extremely disappointed with the service from Miller's Oil. They have been out multiple times this winter to fix my furnace, and yet again—no heat, with temperatures outside at 32 degrees tonight. Each visit has felt like a temporary band-aid rather than a real solution. Despite their repeated assurances that the issue was resolved, my furnace keeps breaking down. When I call, the AI voice mailbox says someone will call back tomorrow, despite the smell of gas in my house. Reliable service is crucial, especially during winter, and Miller's Oil has fallen short every time. I expected better from a company that advertises dependable service. I would not recommend them to anyone looking for lasting solutions for their heating needs.

This company has shady practices. They charged me 500 dollars for an issue that they misdiagnosed. When it was a simple leak, this caused my AC to freeze over. Which lead to water damage and mold, that they wouldn't cover and then they tried to charge me to recharge my AC. I would strongly suggest that people do not trust this company with their AC. It may cost a lot more than just looking elsewhere will.

They did a very good job. They were on time and were quick. We would recommend them as well.

The replacement oil tank was not the problem. I started having problems with my furnace soon after the oil tank was installed and the furnace was cleaned. The furnace would not start and I would call for service. They would come out and get it running again for a short time and I would call for service again. I went through multiple cycles of calling them and them coming out. They replaced a controller and some other parts, but that did not fix the problem. The problem was ultimately resolved when they spent considerable time finding and correcting air leaks in the fuel line and purging the line of air. All the labor involved was at their cost, so I cannot complain about that. The parts they replaced I did have to pay for, which may or not have been necessary.

They were pretty good. They came on emergency call. The guy was friendly, but they were kind of expensive. He didn't leave until everything was checked off and completed maintenance.

Miller sent out a technician with a few months of oil burner experience and he had never seen a unit like ours. He did a diagnostic and determined the unit was not worth fixing. I have to base my future decisions on a person who has no experience servicing my unit and little experience in the field at all. I was not happy with Miller, and this incompetence took them out of the running to replace this system.

It was perfect. They were wonderful and we had no problems.

Their work was superior and the technicians were very knowledgeable. I now have a new person who works on my furnace, but Miller was always fantastic. We had used them for years.

Poor follow through from the top down. The delivery person overfilled the tank and left it. After numerous phone calls to have some one come out and clean up there mess, the company waited until after midnight to have some one look at the problem. The service man showed up and incorrectly diagnosed the oil tank as bad and wrote an $85 dollar bill. The company did nothing for an entire four day weekend while my wife and I had to stay elsewhere because the house smelled like oil. I had to clean the mess myself and lost work time and money. After a week someone form management of the company came out to look at the tank and agreed with me that the service person was wrong. There was an eight foot oil spray in my backyard that killed the grass, oil stains up the side of the house and, an oil spill/stain in front of my house. It was so bad that my neighbor could smell the oil by her house. The manager that came out to see the issue for himself promised to make some fixes free of charge he said he would prohibit the problem in the future. We set up a time for the maintenance service and no one ever showed up. I called and they refused to answer my calls. I was extremely disappointed in the company.

They always call before they come out to do the work to make sure it is ok to come out that day. They always show up on time to do the work. They are very courteous when they are working.

I think the people at Millers are simply satisfactory. I have had them around for about five years now and really only got mad at them once when they had accidentally let me run out of oil. Basically, they are okay though they are reliable enough that they do come out a.s.a.p. if need be. I guess that is why I keep renewing my yearly contract with them.

Miller Oil did an excellent job when they replaced my old boiler with a new one. I was well pleased with the work and I would hire this company in the future. They showed up on time and the guys who came out were very nice.

The service is excellent they provide for us. They are very good at keeping a scheduled date for the service check. We have a yearly contract with this company and we are very satisfied with their service.
